McCullers #8

I really have no idea how McCullers is that high. He isn't that good

Actually he is...being 6'8 350+, you don't need to make a hundred tackles a year, you just need to be able to take up space. If you haven't noticed, no one runs up the gut on us. Always to the outside.

Please stop posting on stuff you don't know.

Wow Stone dropped a lot of spots. I see people have started to disagree on if McCullers 8 spot is to high or not and if he even is good enough to deserve it. Scouts seem to be very attracted towards him due to loving his size at 6-6 and 350 lbs. He is very good and effective at doing the job asked of him within our defense. Im not sure if his overall skill set compares favorably or not to any recent top caliber SEC NT's taken in the first round of the draft within the past few years. In Scout.coms 2014 NFL draft top 100 they list him at 68. All websites ive seen generally seem to give him a 2nd day grade.

Dude, I don't mean this to be insulting, but you have no idea what you are talking about. McCuller's may not be making as many tackles as many thought or expected he should, but he has been a space eating monster and never gets pushed back even if he is double teamed. He has been the anchor for the interior of our defense which has been a freaking wall for the most part this season. :peace2:

McCullers would be an ideal player for the Patriots and maybe a replacement for Wilfork if New England decides to go that route in next year's draft.

McCullers is pretty tall for a NT and that height can be a disadvantahe in the pros where OL can get under his pad level. He needs to stay low and sometimes he gets too high. He has gotten better than last year but lets not go overboard and say he is a Wilfork either.

Wilfork wasn't as good in college as he is now. You can credit the New England coaching staff for improving him.

As far as Big Dan is concerned, I don't want the Patriots to draft him because then he will have to go against my Dolphins twice a year and that isn't a thought that makes me smile.

As for being the next Wilfork.. I don't know about that. Wilfork gets NASTY every play, and I think big Dan is a little soft for that comparison but he is still young and very raw. But as for how he is doing this year. I bet if you ask who A.J. Johnson and Sapp who their favorite D-lineman is. It's Dan, he eats space and keeps our LB's roaming free. Just my take

He needs to be a DE in a 3-4. His length and weight will have to be doubled if he doesn't take plays off. That would free up the OLB on his side to make plays .

He had played much better as of late but he has issues staying motivated. I hope he comes out mad the rest of the season. Need him to continue that push up the middle.
