McElroy apologizes

Pretty sure he only apologized after the beating he took from every corner. And possibly after his bosses told him to.
McElroy is just another one-toothed Bammer who loathes any success by Tennessee. He can kick rocks. I actually had a modicum of respect for the man (?), but that's long gone. His weak apology is obviously one contrived by his bosses. He yearns to be the "next Finebaum". We're laughing at you, Greggie! :confused:o_O

"I'm as happy for you bringing it home last night, or two nights ago, as anybody that wears crimson and can be in their college experience," McElroy said. "So, happy for that, and it wasn't the right place or time.

McElroy quote above. This is not an apology it is a let me say this for the sports world and my job.

Where is the right place and when is the right time to say what he said?

Should be put a stake and burned. Alice needs to grow a set.

Good for him. I have always thought he has been more than fair to us, especially considering his background.
The fact that you have to think it means he is a anti UT.
Analysis of the team are what reporters do and he is good at that and how they pick the winner of a game it is ok if it is not your team.

This is a shot out of nowhere and a personal observation of which he has no reason to make that statement unless he covers WWE. He may watch it but if he can't figure that the WWE is fake and strictly entertainment then he is straight up dogS**t.

So it is ok to Compare an any SEC team to the WWE Confederation. I just hate stupid people with no respect.

Go on, Git. The fact he had to be reprimanded into an apology is another RedFlag about his character and his ability to be a sportscaster.

I find what he said his “offenses” to Vitello’s behaviors were to be absolutely laughable. It’s truly amazing how people’s biases and hatred can make them say some of the dumbest things imaginable. McElroy certainly set a new bar of ignorance that any other broadcaster will be hard-pressed to surpass.

Which branch of the Alabama Tree is he from? The tree-killing branch, the tea-bagging branch, or the sucker-punching branch?

Shame on Vitello for having a fun personality. How dare he coach college baseball and be anything but boring ....

I still want to know what bothered him. TV was a guy having fun and I saw nothing for Tony or the boys to be ashamed of so I really want to know other than UT winning what rubbed him the wrong way.

Uneducated Bammer….Degrees by K-Mart.

I would guess it was that he learned the 6 next to our name was greater than the 5 next to A&Ms.

You answered your own question. If that had been an Alabama coach celebrating a National Championship with his players? We don't get that same response from McElroy.

So basically he says he was having a bad day

as opposed to a stream of consciousness, basically diatribe, about all the things that are bothering me in my personal life and all the things that are bothering me right now with where we're at in society."

What McElroy is actually saying here is that he's as happy as any AL fan can be for TN...

So, basically, not at all
