McElroy apologizes

The best revenge would be to make the football playoff and maybe even win it. Football is about the only left that people can still poke us about, especially after the three Stooges of coaching. And now the whole “Heupel’s Offense is a gimmick” balderdash.
It’s time to REALLY shut up the other fan bases and their talking head “commentators” with a Natty trophy

Couldn’t care less.
I’ve yet to watch or even read exactly what he said nor will I watch or read his apology.
His opinion is of no matter to me because...
WE ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!
I'd be pretty sure Coach T V doesn't care about any comments from Greg McElroy and sure he didn't lose sleep over it......Go Vols

I still want to know what bothered him. TV was a guy having fun and I saw nothing for Tony or the boys to be ashamed of so I really want to know other than UT winning what rubbed him the wrong way.

Uneducated Bammer….Degrees by K-Mart.
This! He acted as if Tony ripped his shirt off like Musselman while standing in front of the Texas A&M team giving them the Gualden Bama double bird salute. Can folks not exhibit some sincere emotion anymore?

im guessing since he compared his "antics" to WWE....he is referring to at one point when Antigua walked up to Vitello to celebrate, they both make the WWE "suck it" gesture toward one another, not toward anyone else (taking bothing hands and chopping between the leg/crotch area while slightly thrusting your hips forward).

it was a brief moment of the entire celebration and not that big of a deal. Some people (Mcelroy) just think it was classless because the WWE labeled the gesture to mean "suck it".
I didn’t see that, but I also think that’s beneath our coach and not the type example I’d prefer he set. Everything I saw him do appeared to be genuine elation from reaching a long stated goal.

Good for him. I have always thought he has been more than fair to us, especially considering his background.
When he first started he was or seemed to be unbiased in his reporting. But in the last year or so his anti-Tennessee bias was beginning to show. It probably started after the 52-49 loss that he couldn't stomach. No matter what Alabama fans talk, they hate losing to Tennessee more than any other team including Auburn. An Auburn loss is like losing to a brother. Losing to Tennessee is like losing to a hated enemy. One other point is Tennessee has more rivals than any other team. Think about it. Tenn vs Ala #1 rival. But also Tenn vs. Florida, Kentucky, Georgia and Vanderbilt are also massive rivalry games.
