the only thing Mondon has that Willis doesn't is the "freak" size. but i agree, since Willis hit the radar screen for us, i've wanted this kid in our class. for sure. This dudes tape is unreal. I’d love to land both but if I had to choose between Willis and Mondon I’m taking Willis, he buries guys in the ground
Maybe that’s our angle at landing them both? Dream scenariothe only thing Mondon has that Willis doesn't is the "freak" size. but i agree, since Willis hit the radar screen for us, i've wanted this kid in our class. for sure.
only other difference, and i'm not sure it's really a thing, is i feel like Mondon is more an OLB, though everything says he's a true 4x4 guy...and WIllis is more inside, though everythign says he's a 4x4 guy too....i just think natually, mondon fits outside, willis inside.
but it's probably splitting hairs. both can play anywhere needed really.....

Grant's pick: Tennessee
Jeremy Pruitt and his staff apparently feel right at home in Baltimore. After getting Dominic Bailey in 2020, it sounds as though the next name out of St. Frances Academy is Aaron Willis. And it may not stop there. Sources have indicated to GoVols247 that Tennessee leads for Willis and obviously that would only help the Vols in pursuit of his talented teammates.
247Ryan's pick: Tennessee
Willis hasn't been to Tennessee's campus before, but the Vols gave him an early offer more than a year ago and have done a good job of recruiting him in recent months. He wanted to make the trip to Knoxville soon, but the COVID-19 pandemic prevented that from happening this spring. But Tennessee's staff has made him enough of a priority and built enough of a relationship with him, led by tight ends coach Joe Osovet and defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley, that he seems to be leaning toward the Vols, anyway.
Sources close to his recruitment have indicated that Tennessee is the team to beat for Willis, and with Willis set to announce his choice on Sunday, the Vols are poised to add another elite linebacker to their class.
