Medical Marijuana use really no brainer.

You're being delusional if you don't think that most (notice I didn't say all, but most) of these guys are just hiding behind patients in order to promote their recreational weekend habits. If you gathered 20 pot smokers in a room and asked them if they support legalizing reefer, I guarantee you at least 14 out of 20 would have glaucoma/cancer/HIV as a defense for legalizing, not recreational use. We all know deep down that the majority of pot smokers that are out in front on this issue are really being disengenious.

Again, this is coming from somebody that believes in legalizing pot. But they don't have to insult the intelligence of the public by demagoging the issue.

Well then let me gain some credibility. I want to, legally, be able to smoke myself stupid every Saturday while watching basketball and eating hot wings and Doritos. I also want to be able to smoke myself stupid if I ever have glaucoma.

you sir have earned my respect, keep up the good work

I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble here but, from what I've read, pot smoke is worse for your lungs then cigarette smoke. Maybe not as addictive as nicotine, but not something I would recommend starting.

That said, cigarettes have been legal for many years, and are probably more addictive then any recreational drug out there. This country needs to have an honest dialogue about recreational drug use. With a presidential race, you would think it could happen, but it hasn't.

well, it may very well be, but most marijuana smokers don't smoke anywhere near as much pot as they do tobacco.

Woozie, do I sense sarcasm?

Why do people pay 4.00 a pack for cancer sticks?

People would pay for it because people want it now and above all are super lazy!

I totally agree. I don't have the time to try to grow decent pot, so why wouldn't I just go out and buy it if readily available?

Exactly. Not everyone who enjoys weed has the land or lives in an apartment full of grow lights.

They probably would if they could buy it at a gas station for the price of a pack of cigarettes.

Theoretically speaking of course, if I smoked as much pot as I do tobacco, I would be a vegetable.

What gets me is there is a whole group of individuals out there fighting to legalize pot. It seems as if they would have something better to do.. like post on VolNation.

Many times I have read posts on Volnation and wondered if pot was involved.
