Meeks Following Jasper?

Let them go, they'll be sorry when they're at some bottom tier team and Billy is making a run at a championship

No, he sounds like someone who actually knows something about college basketball.
must have stolen the line from another site then.

Losing both of those guys who are pretty solid citizens puts the hurt on UK from a scoring standpoint next season.

I'm wondering the same thing. They'll basically lose their entire backcourt production, if true. Liggins and Darius Miller are coming in, but they're young and that's not a lot of depth. Who else am I missing?

you legitimately think Kentucky will be making a run for a championship by the time Meeks and Jasper are graduating from whatever place they transfer to (assuming they did decide to leave)?

Billy G will eventually lead Kentucky to a championship but to say it will happen while they are at some 'bottom tier team' is absolutely ridiculous.

Then you said that.

So they never said leading them to a championship, they said making a run. So where the hell did that come from Skip?

Fine. To say Billy G will lead them on a 'run' towards a championship while Meeks and Jasper are sitting at some 'bottom tier college' is absolutely ridiculous.

The time frame just isn't right.

If they transfer, The Twin Momuments of Cowardice will be finishing up their careers in '10-'11. If you think Kentucky won't be capable of winning a championship by then, I'd really like to make a wager with you.

I have absolutely no doubt Kentucky will be a championship caliber team in 3 years.

The BCR's were pretty upset about losing Roderick Flemings to Hawaii last night. If Majok ends up signing with the Huskies, Kentucky will finish no better than third in the SEC East standings next season.

Given their current recruiting woes, it could end up being about 4 or 5 more years until Kentucky becomes a national contender again.

Remind me again how long it took Billy to turn Texas A&M around? An Aggie team with ZERO tradition. If he can turn a winless A&M team into contenders he can have the Wildcats into the Final 4 within 3-4 years

It could, but when you have Billy running the show it won't. He's a top 5 coach and a great recruiter. He may not get the kids that don't want to make sacrifices in practice, but he'll get kids that are competitive and want to win and they'll do just that

they darn well better recruit well next season and pray Patterson stays around if they're getting there by 10-11. This class is OK. Majok could make a large difference, but he's not in the bag. Miles and Liggins are solid, but not great and Patterson is unlikely to hang around very long.
