and O'Neal visiting Minn. Those are two top notch players who are wavering and they both have the grades to get in. Melancon, not so much.

Beat me to it. I don't like Saban at all, but he is just using a term commonly used in Louisiana. It is usually derogatory, but not racial.

I think Melancon is as good as gone, but G. Jones and O'Neal are with us in the spring, no doubt about it.

Perhaps I am wrong...but that would be horrible news...I felt like we really needed him on that line...and that we really need to pick up at least one more strong DT.

read on govolsxtra this morning......he's just taking the trip to take the trip...his terminology......."taking a vacation" and when asked about his commitment to UT, he said "no doubt, i'll be a vol"

now, of course we've heard that before, but until i see otherwise, i'll take the kid for what he's worth.

yeah, just going by what the article said. if there's any merit to what he was quoted as to have said, Bama has no shot at him. i think he's just taking the visit to take it. it was his last one of the 5 and he said all along, if i'm not mistaken, that he had planned on taking all his visits anyway.

if he decommits and goes to Bama, i'll be shocked.

From what I have read I am pretty confident about Melancon. With that said, anything is possible in recruiting.

So, what are we worrying about now ?

Dont always blame guys taking visit after commit. They are still good guys. Luther Davis was a liar, but as far as I know, our commits are not.

BTW, some BAMA fans are aware of the fact that some commits from other schools take visits to BAMA simply because the visits are free vacations. SO my suggestion is: Let our commits keep accepting generous money checks from Nick Saban, and have fun before enrolling.

Melancon has returned from Bama and said he was still solid to UT. This was chance to get away for the weekend.

O'Neal never left San Francisco

i'm not wrong untill WED. it seems he will stay with us and become a vol. you never know maybe i'll be wrong about austin to and he will come to knoxville. i would like to be wrong like that all the time.
