I was very aware of that fact before tonight. Doesn't change the fact that this team isn't close to last years team.

Hey man - it's CUSA - the only results that matter to Memphis are what occurs in the NCAAT. So both at this point until this team managers to get to the FF.

The way I see it, you can't say this team isn't close to last year's team based on something that hasn't taken place yet. They haven't lost yet in the tourney and we won't know if they will get to the FF for a while. Just sayin'.

But you can clearly see the product on the court isn't near as good and that's all we have to go on for now.

I wonder how Memphis is going to look next year? Yeah I know, they will still suck. =)

Yeah, even with the most epic recruiting class in basketball history Cal couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. God, imagine what Pearl could do with all that talent? You right robbins, they are still gonna suck!:)

They will tank. John Wall will be focused on the NBA. Cousins is a cancer and won't qualify. Xavier Henry is overrated. Sallie is a fluke. And, oh yeah, Cal can't coach. CUSA won't prepare them for the Big 6 teams. Have I covered all of the prognostications that occur every year?

Prognostications aside, could you explain how one of the top defensive teams around gave up 102 points?

No, but let's try. Came out good, went flat for about 12 minutes, then turned it on, but it wasn't enough. Silly turnovers by the Tigers #1 caretaker Anderson. Nothing from Doneal Mack whatsoever (and nothing being less than the nothing the Vols get from that loudmouth, whiny tool JP) . Didn't find Sallie who had another decent game.Dozier and Reke played well, but Doze and Tag could have been better. Not the same depth as in the past and Miz ran out about 11 players that wore them down. I figured out why Mizzou fans say they have the best conditioned team....because none of their players have to play large minutes at a time with their 10-11 in rotation.

Cal got totally outcoached and outprepared in the first half. Memphis had the better talent (though maybe more top heavy than MU).
