Memphis......I got two words for yah

I'll give you UCONN, Temple and Cincy, and hell, even Houston. They once were worth a damn. And I'll bet UCONN and Cincy will go elsewhere in due time.

But UCF, USF, Tulane, ECU, Navy and SMU? LMFAO.

UCF, USF are both solid programs...we know them both well from CUSA...ECU has a damn fine football program, as does Navy...Tulane? I'll never complain about a trip to New Orleans...SMU? Look up June Jones and Larry Bown.

And where exactly are UConn and Cincy going?

Solid? Uh, no. Average at best? Yes. Navy has a good football program? LOL. Tulane sucks balls.

Anyone that follows football would laugh at those teams.

And where are UCONN and Cincy going? Give it time. I'm sure you saw Texas A & M coming to the SEC and Louisville going to the ACC. When it's all said and done, there will be 4 power conferences. If you don't grab a chair at one of those, you will be left out.

It doesn't work that way...the conferences pick you...not the other way around...Memphis can either go back to CUSA and play MTSU, UTSA, ODU, and FIU...or we can make the BE work with Memphis, UConn, Cincy, Temple, etc.

Which would you choose?

This will be a tough game for both squads. Memphis has some potential superstars that have yet to break out and UT is still rebuilding from the loss of CBP. A win by either team is critical at this point, but more so for Memphis thanks to a horribly weak schedule. After the losses during the tournament earlier in the season, I think Memphis was embarrassed. They almost beat Louisville but got screwed by the BE refs out of that one, so this year's Tigers team is still looking for a statement game. I'm sure this one is circled on the schedule as a shot at redemption for them, so I hope CCM has UT prepared for an all out war.

Should be a lot of fun to watch!

BTW if u want to recruit kids from Memphis, it might be a good idea to quit calling their hometown a cesspool, armpit, etc. I love UT, been a fan since i was 4 years old watching games with my dad, but these kinds of childish and immature references still piss me off to no end. This is where I was born and raised, went to undergrad and graduate school and today work to provide healthcare to the city's poor. You can talk all the smack you want about teams, but to generalize an entire metro area of more than 1m in your own state is pretty simple minded.

And you don't think UCONN or Cincy looks inviting? Hell, West Virginia and Louisville got picked up and their academics are average at best. The ACC picking Louisville says everything.

And don't think for a minute that back door deals aren't being made between AD's of schools with the conferences. Jurich is a great AD and he got the ACC to take a school that never would've taken them 10 years ago.

They don't increase the ACC tv deal...Louisville can...$$$ is what it comes down to...and as a fan, what's left in the BE is still better than CUSA, Sun Belt, or MAC...so it's still our best option.

I never said it wasn't Memphis' best option. However, they are going to a conference that even they don't know what it will look like once they get there.

And of course it's about money. Everyone knows that. That's why there will be 4 power conferences left when the dust settles.

Cincinnati is a bigger media market than Louisville, and they're a solid program as well. If someone else gets poached from the ACC, Cincinnati will almost definitely get an invitation.

Then why didn't they just add them with UL? If they wanted them, they would have taken them.

Memphis fans

UT may not have a top level BB program....heck, they'd be more competitive in DII, but the Memphis game has always been their marquee game and they will definitely play their best game. Unfortunately, for Memphis, it's just another bottom dwelling opponent that they're expected to beat. They don't always do well against those.

Too bad we are a bottom dwelling opponent that leads the all time series.

That is just a dumb statement from someone whose emotions are clouding their judgment.

But I thought BTO said that vols have never been on a tiger message board before?

Reading comprehension my friend.

I said I have not seen Vol Fans over there posting and defending Tennessee and Martin. I read their boards for humor once in awhile, but have NEVER posted.

Unlike the Memphis Clan who run over here anytime the words Memphis or Pastner are mentioned.

I guess he needs to start brow-beating some of the Vol posters here.

Going to another message board is an absolute no-no

Once again, reading comprehension. Why is it you're so selective? Are you truly that dumb, or just enjoy being a doucher?

I've never said anything about you all reading this board, I've evn said I read tiger boards from time to time. What I said was, I don't see vol fans posting on Memphis boards when they're talking bad about Tennessee and/or Martin. Much the way you and your little gang have your bat signal anytime Pastner or Memphis is mentioned here you all come running.

memphis fans are so smart and educated!

$@%!$ where the @%!$ are u from and I love my city and I'm here to defend my city from soft @%! country boys like yourself who wouldn't know how to survive in a city like Memphis. Just so u know there are worker cities in the United States like New Orleans Louisiana Chicago Illinois Miami Florida New York City Los Angeles California Houston Texas Baltimore Maryland Washington D.C. places where u would never probably step a foot in so shut your $@%!$ @%! up.

I live in the crappy city of memphis and I hate to get fans. Only fans I've watched actually quit being tiger fans and pick a team that has beat the vols in football and say they are my team!! What?? City of bandwagoneers and I hate it.

I hope tn stomps a 10 ft mudhole in the tigers bottom line.

Someone's been going to the Memphis boards.

#Forbidden
