Memphis Megaclass?

Tonight at the basketball sectionals game between White station and Liberty. Bruce showed up with about 6 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

The biggest recruit playing was Junior point guard Joe Jackson. He put up 32 points and he didn't play that well. does anyone else know who he may have been recruiting?

Joe Jackson is a hard Memphis lean. I don't know who else Mr. Pearl would be looking at, but I really think he is wasting his time with Jackson. (IMO)

Yeah, they said the same thing last year also huh?

Don't you get it? It doesn't matter how much success they've had over the years or how much Calipari has accomplished. It's about the conferenece, not how deep that the team will advance to in a couple of weeks

Wall just named Memphis as his leader. Article is on rivals.com

Holy crap. If he does sign, that is the no.1, 2, and 3 players in the nation.

Wall, Cousins, and Henry would appear to make a great class.. however I dont think Cousins and Henry are the #2 and #3 players in the nation

Just to add to the post above about Wall and Rivals.

Jerry Meyer of Rivals.com scored an interview today with John Wall, the nation’s No. 1 point guard, who said that Memphis is out in front at the moment for his services.
The Tigers have big recruiting momentum right now with DeMarcus Cousins committing Sunday. If Wall commits to the Tigers, they’ll have the No. 1, 2 and 3 players in the country per Rivals’ rankings.
“DeMarcus going to Memphis is a big thing,” Wall told Rivals. “To see a big man go there is important because I want to play with a dominant big man. He’s going to help out Memphis a lot. And it’s exciting that he is going to be there because no guard is good without a good big man inside and dominant shooters on the wing. Playing with (Duke commit) Ryan Kelly in the summer helped me see that because he was so good on the pick and pop.”

Josh Pastner is still trying to get Latavious Williams to come to Memphis with this class. Are you kidding me!? Hat nailed this class very early...MEGACLASS. Josh is a hell of a guy, but I just don't see Willams signing with Memphis (I think he is going to Gtown) and waiting to get into the game, but I would never underestimate Cal and his coaching staff. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.
