Memphis Megaclass?

Just a bit off topic but anyways... I went to Cal steakhouse tonight and had a chance to talk to Cal for awhile and he told me Anderson and Dozier are 130-13 while at Memphis. That's a hell of a record I would have to say..

By this do you mean when he said this in front of the 200 or so people as well as the entire radio audience? I was there too. Not exactly insider news.

Eh, show me a post where I said it was...hell, I saw it in the CA. last night also after I got home.

Couldn't really tell if this was Demarcus or not. He was sitting right behind the bench and was a pretty large guy.

That's him..

And I guarantee you he was impressed . What about it MR7 the forum was rocking , if you were a stud player wouldnt you want to play @ Memphis instead of the Tad Pad ?

We had an absolute blast even the TIGERS got off to a sluggish start !!!!

Yea, we figured as much. He has some Dwight Howard-like shoulders. He's a big boy. Pictures are crappy because the zoom on the camera was maxed out from the first row of the upper deck.

We think we also saw Andre Turner in a green and white jumpsuit.

Nice pick up for the next class. With Xavier and Cousins in, there is only one more piece to this puzzle to put together for this megaclass..Cal for Mayor!!! :)

They're touting as the best class in the country . I sure hope we get the other graet players .

OH sorry Gcrog , I couldnt hold back !:dance2:

Back to the shop to watch the VOLS go off on Bammer

Im not sure it will be #1 just yet, unless Mr. Wall comes to Memphis. With Demarcus, it should move them up very close to 1, but I think it would take John Wall to sign before it will be a #1 class, I could be wrong.

You aren't usually wrong about the the TIGERS . This may be just enough to pull Wall our way . What point guard wouldn't want to play with Mr. Cousins .:)

Well I think alot of it has to do with Tyreke, if he goes pro or not for Wall to come to Memphis. I would be interested in Hat's veiw on all of this, he is the man spot on with these things.

I dont know what his job is , but you're right he really seems to have some inside information .

Well one thing about the Memphis class, there is going to be some very good talent riding the pine. Cal will have 2 teams to throw at teams. Memphis is going to be stacked next year with talent no matter if Wall comes to Memphis or not, but with Wall it would just be iceing on the cake for Cal.

I don't see many ways in which Tyreke does not leave, which is supposedly what Wall is waiting on. The Cousins signing only helps the cause.

I am just curious if Taggert will be returning.

Taggart said Friday he was 85% sure he will be back.

I have also heard comments that he wants to go ahead and start making money (Europe), but we will see. Maybe he sees that next year has the chance to be as special as 2007-08.

1) Wall/Evans
2) Henry/Mack
3) Mack/Henry
4) Cousins
5) Taggart

Henry
Kemp
Witherspoon
Dennis
Sallie

Per Scout:

Over the course of seven days, Cousins experienced the lows and highs basketball has to offer. Last Friday, he lost in the semifinals of the state tournament. A week later, he’s on top of the world thinking of the damage he and Xavier Henry can inflict on college basketball next year. When asked what he’s looking forward to most next year, his answer was simple.

“A national championship,” Cousins said.

Once he returns home tonite, Cousins will go to work on his next assignment: point guard John Wall. “I’ll call him tonite.”

Nolan Dennis, Cousins, Henry, forward Darnell Dodson and center Will Coleman comprise what has become the nation’s most talented recruiting class.

Where does CJ fit into that? :) Im really looking forward to see how Witherspoon and Sallie does over the offseason. I still say Witherspoon is going to be a hell of a player in the future.
