that warrants an athlete beating up a spectator? Athletes shouldn't touch a fan for any reason unless said fan is going to hurt someone.
you might wanna think through that a bit. The n bomb is a different animal altogether. I would generally agree, but one has left spectator status behind when tossing out that type of personal insult.that warrants an athlete beating up a spectator? Seriously it wasn't a slap. it was a shove in the face because the guy was spitting on him and calling him n***** and also hit him with a bottle...seriously if that doesn't get at you, you have no cahones...and don't tell me anyone outside of Jesus H. Christ would have doen anything different.
And seriously I don't like at all that he (Pierre Niles) did that. I don't think it should be done. But it wasn't without severe provocation. remember all this was after UAB fans had been on the floor and shoved Dorsey and other players. You want to say players should be held to a higher standard, then keep the fans off the f****** floor and this kind of stuff won't happen. Where was security when Memphis was headed up the tunnel. They knew what was going on and still weren't there.
if you actually took the time to look at the picture, you would see security right beneath the guy getting the hand in the face.
I'll hold reservation on the n-word since that is just hearsay and speculation at this point.
