you're held to a much higher standard as an athlete. Does any player just run into the crowd and beat the hell out of any guy who drops the n-bomb on him?

1. Spitting
2. Throwing objects
3. Spilling drink (backsplask would have saliva, so similar to #1)
4. The n-bomb

It really ain't that hard to figure out where someone crosses the line and deserves a beatdown.

What makes this really bad is that its a Memphis player. They already have a reputation for bad behavior, and Off court trouble, but now they punch a man wearing Orange? That hits me hard, thats like a slap to my face. But they still are not worse than Bama, or Cincinnati is behavior problems.

Is it really hard for these morons in the picture to figure out that a team like "Mempis" that evidently "[beats their] own girls" would retaliate to this hostile behavior?

The guy was wearing a prison jumpsuit (classy!). It had nothing to do with UT.

UAB does seem like they have some dbag fans...it is still Alabama after all

I hate to judge a book by its cover, but that does look like the kind of guy that would engage in the behavior discussed in this thread. There was definitely a lot of stuff being tossed from his vicinity.

I'm just saying that if they beat us this weekend it will be like that....a Memphis player physically slapping my face, that is if we lose to a program like that.

I don't really want to get down on our guys, but how do you think Tyler Smith and JP Prince would react to the kind of treatment the Tigers supposedly got?

nobody said anything about near death. Worst I saw was a savage beating. I was personally saying that the slap and then some would be completely justified.

If you mess with a bull, you get the horns. I could care less if the Memphis players had beaten the UAB imbeciles within an inch of their lives. Act like a fool, you get beat down. It's really simple

I guess that is not "near death". I agree that a slap and then some would be justified though.

Throwing objects is an absolute given. I could see cups flying on a pretty crappy quality feed.

So if someone accidently spilled their drink on you, you would give them a beatdown?

Dude JP would be the first guy in there. Followed closely by Duke, then TS

If I was a Memphis player i would have just used those insults, and things thrown my way as a complement. and say "Hey, thanks for being angry we came into your house and won. and your actions show how great we are, that you are mad after 1 loss" instead they start acting like pros and slapping fans. That shows lack of Class.

Yeah, there's nothing more complementary than someone slinging saliva at you.

I don't really think that's for you to decide.

I guess you are right. I guess after someone was to spit in his face, throw something at him, and then spill a drink on him, it would take them calling him the n-word to set him off.

The list didn't say the spit went in his face. It's fun to interpret things too literally.
