Whoever wins this shouldn't celebrate much. Both teams are overrated at this stage is the season.

As far as squeaking past Tenn St yesterday. I was at the game. They put on a shooting display (75% from 3 pt and 90% from the line). Most of those shots were contested but they didnt miss. Their center made three contested triples in the contest as well. They will be a force in the OVC and theyre already 3-1

Honestly I think the charleston performance would beat memphis. They cant shoot.

True. I should have clarified. A month ago this matchup looked like 2 teams with at least Sweet 16 hopes. Now, Tennessee has already dropped and it's probably only a matter of time until Memphis starts slumping. At least they have the youth excuse.

Memphis doesn't have the conference schedule that will allow them to slump. They are a tournament team and have the talent to win their conference easily.

OK, I've thought about it, and I'm pretty sure we win by 15. I think we'll come out blazing tomorrow night. Tigers going down!

CUSA has four potential tourney teams in Memphis, UCF, So. Miss, and UAB. All four of those teams have a legit chance of making the dance however not all four will since we all play each other twice. I personally think So. Miss will win the conference this year. They play a very physical aggressive type ball and Eustachy is a good coach. We will not have the cake walk we have had in years past.

You dont have a cakewalk because you arent any good but their certainly arent 4 NCAA tourney caliber teams

So the tigers at 11-2 with only two losses to #1 and #2 in RPI are not worthy? Maybe

UCF is undefeated and ranked #19. Not worthy? Doubt it

So. Miss has two losses both on the road with a couple of quality road wins and sit at 11-2 also.

UAB has a chance at Duke but will need the conference schedule to make a resume.


I dont know why you think that those four teams cant make the tourney. We wont all make it because we will need to beat each other in order to build a resume but all four have a shot. Even UTEP has a chance but its far fetched.
