Asking this because I don't know, but isn't that part of the HC's negotiations?

I think most of us are missing why Barnes felt the need to bump Oliver 25k. From what I can tell it wasn't because he was underpaid it was because Barnes felt guilty that his new hire in Swartz was making more than Oliver.
