I only mention the bit about posting low, pivoting and shooting--no dribbling--because I frankly think that UT's bigs have been slow to develop their offensive games. Glory Johnson was a great athlete and yet never really developed basic post moves until her senior season. Anosike never did. (Granted, Glory was more a 4 (power forward) than a center.) Baugh was also more a 4 than a 5--she always wanted to dribble the ball in the paint, which created problems.

I agree and Baugh could never change her game due to injuries plus she had been a perimeter player in high school and never effectively moved to the post. The verdict is still out whether Dean can effectively teach that position. Glory was really only about 6'1" IMO and was never a great shooter but very quick and got better every year. She has become even better in the WNBA. I'm hoping they just get Russell stronger and don't do much with her style she already plays like a great post but she is gonna find the girls a lot bigger and stronger that is why she has to match them and get stronger.

Parker is without question one of the best women's players of all time. Her versatility is what set her apart from others. She could do it all. Russell isn't as versatile as Candace as she is a true Center. However, she's the best at her position. She will be a tremendous player in the paint for the Lady Vols. The Graaves/Russell tandem in the Post will end up being one of the best in women's college basketball.
