Hard to believe, but this is the first I’ve heard about this. My son is a Junior there and he constantly tells me that the gender stuff on campus is getting nuttier by the day.

Yeah. Me too. Jim Cole was gracious enough to let me sit in his corner area for the game last week and I did not hear a peep about this. As I think about it, I’d rather them do this than to wind up in a situation where a trans dude gets nominated for queen and all hell breaks loose.

You’d probably be amazed by how little has changed. There has been growth on the north and west edges, mostly people trying to escape the city government and later Bibb County altogether. However, the older parts of town (Mercer campus excepted) probably look 90%+ the same as 1969.
