I have just never seen a rb this big. I met eddie george in columbus when he was a freshman. We both were lifting at worlds.

Eddie was smaller and shorter.

He has great pad level. He doesn't run like his height would indicate.

He'll be perfectly fine.

So exactly how many college RBs have you met at the gym in your lifetime?

Friend was wearing Ut hat

Looked at a bama fan...pointed and laughed.

Is working out triceps but medium weight

Keeps stretching right shoulder.

Might be the tallest rb ever.

I shook his hand and thanked him.

Seems like a good kid.

I will post two pics when im done..

to be fair he's playing mostly agaist kids not in his league. his "pad" level will get higher when he gets hit harder and gets winded. it has the possibility of being a larger problem with extra height. Doesn't mean it will but i doubt sumner / davidson area is a good judge of consistent ability.
Why is it so a big deal to everyone if he did become a great lb or te anyway? we frankly just need good players everywhere.

Because the thought of a RB that can rumble through DL's like puddin, knock LB's out of the stadium, and crush DB skulls sounds pretty exciting.

I have met very few UT players in person due to where I live now. Jalen would make less than 10. There is a small group of ex players that work out where I do--outside of that no where else.

As for OSU--I lived in Upper Arlington and Dublin for 17 years. There is a 24 hours worlds gym in Westerville and the aquatic/athletic facility at OSU was very nice.

I met a lot of guys who played for OSU and my gf at the time had a friend who dated a LB there.

I hated OSU with a passion.

Did you give him a hug while you were at it?

No.

But I did walk up to him and thank him and shake his hand.

He thanked me back.

Seems like a very good, clean-cut kid.

Not gonna lie...I was excited.

I am a Vol fan after all!

Darren McFadden laughs at everybody who thinks 6'1" is too tall for a RB....

Funny you asked this question.. 1) I bet a lot Volnation posters have run into players but haven't shared due to this type of "back hand" compliment/question.
2) I do not pretend to hold any stature or place, but if your asking how (in this case) a poster see's/meets athletes at a gym... then I can help.

This is how it works, one goes to a gym many times a week and there to for is more likely to meet athletes in training.

Marcus Bagwell, Hulk Hogan, Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, Jerome Bettis, countless UGA players (here in GA).... I have worked out with multiple times. It doesn't seem far fetched to me.....
