Meyer's Explanation

He just was an overrated coach without Teblow. He's a jerkface and I know who couldn't have taken all the loses he was going to start receiving.

Meyer is quitting because next year was going to be more of this year....including a Tennessee "W" in the Swamp. Tebow is the only reason he won 2 Nat'l titles. He rode his back to look brilliant and now he looks vanilla. Adios ego maniac....you're back to average status. Lane Kiffin was right when he said Florida has all the talent but Alabama has the better coaches when it came time for that S.E.C. last year.

BTW.....where are all the Gator trolls that were giving me a hard time when I said they would be mediocre without Tebow......Brantley will win us a S.E.C. title....blah, blah, blah....never saw it once this year and won't see it next year either.

I thought there was an explanation already.

Tennessee quit.

IMO, when you complain about someone running up the score on you, it devalues your program.

You should be more upset that the score was allowed to be run up on you rather than who did it.

I'm sure everybody here remembers the 59-20 blowout loss at Florida in 2007. And having said that, Meyer said he had a reason for running up the score. He said he might disclose that reason sometime in the future after he had retired or something along those lines.

Firstly, does anybody else remember this? Second, should he be probed in regards to finding out? And third, I want speculation as to what it is. :)

I had heard it had something to do with Fulmer. Anyone else?

I actually do remember something along those lines. He said he wouldn't comment about it on the record.

That said, I could care less about it now.

And Tebow keeping them alive on several key drives during that season......including that 1st season when he got them some key 1st downs to keep drives alive to beat us in Knoxville that year. We should've beat them that year....but Tebow saved them while SPLITTING time at the helm.

Who cares it's long dead history. Urban is a dirtbag, but smart enough to get out of town when the getting is good. Would not be suprised if a big reason for his departure is the fact the NCAA is sniffing around the SEC like a blood hound.

He's a coward. If you run it up on everyone with SuperMan, you should be able to take your lumps without the man of steel. Unless his marriage is in trouble, I am not buying his excuses.

Yes quite. You don't live down here in Gator country. They wouldn't shut up about him while he was coaching the year to include the months after he quit. Every Gator fan I met had something to say.

I meant not quite with LawGator.

Trust me I hear it, too and I am nowhere near Gainesville.

Difference is, Meyer is retired. She's still a threat to world peace, the economy, education, knowledge, civil discourse, and my sanity.

Well, we are at war, so she's not a threat to world peace.

The economy is already in the crapper, so don't know what damage she could fo there.

Our civil discourse has never been civil, so you can rest easy on that too.

The education system in america has been bad for a while. I don't know if it's worse in alaska.

Women have been testing men's sanity since the beginning of time. Nothing new there.

If she's a threat to knowledge, that's one powerful chick.

So you know, I could care less. But, I find it funny how much people love or loathe her
