UK put its effort into basketball and look where they are. UT did the same in football and yet with all the titles in the 40s and 50s it sure didn't mean squat the last coupe decades. There's a whole generation growing up thinking UT is nothing but a mid tier sec team that occasionally might win 8 or 9 games.

Speaking of barely trying, this below par football school has beaten your perennially elite stocked basketball school 4 out of the last 6 contests...imagine now that we’re paying our basketball coach mebbe we’ll start showing some effort. Enjoying that one championship out of your $9 mil per dude in that “easier” sport to win? That whole generation you reference couldn’t fail to notice us dominate your ass in that sport your school is just beginning an effort...while we’re BRAGGING! Tidal Surge is MIA with his passive aggressive act...when did you decide to take up that mantle? Enjoyed the discussions when you realized you were the guest fan.

Started writing a long response then thought about it and you're right.

Had a long week (almost 70 hours) at work and found out ill need to do work this weekend. Made me a tad irritable and argumentative. Take it easy Butchna.

Spoiler alert: Quality coaches don't choose a HC job in a vacuum. TAMU was (and still is) light-years ahead of UT in all facets of a program, and that's why they had their pick of quality coaches. How this is still a mystery to some posters boggles the mind.

We’re UK’s Florida when it comes to playing football.

No matter the time & the place, they never seem to beat us.

Stoops can’t lose to a first year HC with one of his best teams ever. Pruitt is already in his head no doubt.
