The ACC is actually pretty deep this year and you’re not in the Coastal anymore. You can’t afford to blow games to lesser opponents and hope to get to Charlotte. I think they go to Chapel Hill this coming weekend. That’s a must win with FSU on the schedule too. Not taking a knee and turning the ball over might’ve been the difference in a potential CFP appearance (long shot I know), NY6 game and then falling all the way down to the Cheez It Bowl or Duke’s Mayo Bowl.

They’re toast. They had one great win early but I think it’s too late for any “must win” talk. They are just another team now.

Twice? The first time would haunt me every time we had a tight lead even if we WERE kneeling. But twice? I don't think I could coach after that.

I did the same. Really glad to see two teams that were using gimmick uniforms in a game get beat. Miami and Kentucky.

I felt really bad for the players after the fact for their emotions because their head coach who is being paid millions of dollars has this kind of lapse in judgement,and has no idea or common sense,and blows it for the team. Who does that?

I'm also upset that this game doesn't mean that much now to UNC next week.(There is the competition for the ACC still at large at least)

If the AD hasn't already fired him the whole department should be shown the door. Inexcusable and wildly incompetent.
