Michael Dyer - now Louisville bound (merged)

What's your opinion of the possibility that Dyer is a Vol?

I agree. Folks forget how banged up a RB gets during a season. One guy goes down, the other gets banged up - who do you have that you know can get it done on this roster?

Being a Broncos fan, I've learned how often rb's get banged up.. And if u don't have plenty of depth, u lose.

Our RBs were solid but average. We need one of them to bust out like Travis Stephens did, come out of nowhere, and run like a machine!

Our coaching staff and scheme (both offenses and defensive) were the weakest links last year.

Hopefully, the spring game will be treated like a real football game. Then, we will be able to see the amount of upgrade in schemes and game day coaching decisions.

JMO, I have never liked the non- game type spring football games.

:bump3: What is the latest? I think as much as RB's get hurt we could use him. Just have a zero tolerance policy with him imo.

I would like to see someone give him a chance to prove himself. He is an excellent ball carrier and play maker.

I know he is someone who some would not want such as yourself, but that is your opinion. You may be right, he maybe shouldn't be here. I might take chance on him since we are so thin at RB. Now I am sure they looked into him, and again he may not be worth risk, but should here some news on him since he would need to enroll soon unless he just waits till NFL draft.

If there was news, the thread would have been bumped with said news. People do not sit around thinking, "with this Michael Dyer info I just got, I hope someone bumps the thread real soon so I can post it".

I think this thread should be moved to 'Around the NCAA' since he will not be playing at the University of Tennessee.
