Michael Dyer - now Louisville bound (merged)

What's your opinion of the possibility that Dyer is a Vol?

Yes, it does. If he can get in at Louisville, he can get in here. Not saying I want him (or he wants us, for that matter), but it won't be academics that keep him out of UT. I say we just sit back and leave the recruiting up to Butch.

With all of the bad publicity with Aaron Hernandez and Goodell's stiff policies on conduct there is no way any NFL will draft Dyer in the 1st round regardless of the year he has IMO.

When I saw this thread, I though it said Michael Myers was coming to UT..... Now that I read it I see it was Dyer .... geee what a let down

dyer was booted from AU over the gun, robbery, and weed stuff

dyer was then booted from arky state by malzahn for possession of a gun and weed and reckless speeding

Don't want. UT got two decent backs who have worked for their starter positions. Bringing in MD says the coaches have no confidence in the two backs. MD hasn't had his body hit for two years so isn't football ready. Doesn't know the plays. Presence could muck up team chemistry this late in the preparation for fall. If willing to work hard and accept he's not a starter or even second string this season, Maybe. Otherwise, don't want.

Look at Louisville schedule. Good chance he plays for a NC if he goes there. maximum exposure for the year then the nfl.

But didn't you read the article... He now often times leaves the gun at home. He's clearly a changed man.

Dyer was never tied to the robbery. The gun he has has always been legal. The only thing he did at Arky St was get a traffic ticket.

If you are correct and we avg 5yds/carry we should be able to handle Alabama, Oregon, Georgia and Florida, unfortunately this is not going to happen this year.
