I hate theatrics from someone who obviously never kicked a field goal in their life. It takes guts to put the whole Volnation on your back and accept responsibility for potential National Championship deciding kicks. I for one, am so grateful this young man with so much talent and guts has seemingly chosen to represent us all. Thanks man. I will always appreciate your effort. Otherwise please google colquitt and get back to the nation whenyou are better informed.

My how things have changed over the years! I remember in years past I wouldn't know or even really care who the kicker was going to be until I saw him run out on the field during the first game. Now we are all clamoring over a kicking recruit..........a KICKING recruit in July!! :post-4-1090547912:

In years past you didn't know who the kicker was cause he went out there and did his job and did it well. It was a given he'd get the job done. We haven't had that in a while.

Where does the ball kicked off in High School? Because this kid has had touch backs on 98% of his kicks...

this is great florida killed us last year on special teams if this kid is getting touchbacks 98% of the time brandon james or anybody else is useless

I can't believe how many of you are simply discounting special teams. How many games have we seen won on special teams before? Lack of emphasis on special teams has killed us the last several years. Haven't all of you been bitching about Fulmer's lack of emphasis on special teams? This kid is a difference maker. He earned a scholarship to Auburn as a sophomore in High School. He has one of the biggest legs over the last several years. Made a 72 yard field goal at one point right in front of Eddie Gran to earn a scholarship. (that's some pressure) He could very well end up as a punter as well or instead. Wait until you see Chad Cunningham kick off this year and you'll be wishing Palardy was here a year early.
