Michelle Obama spent $10 million

aww hell, who cares? It's not like Ben Bernanke and Tim Geithner haven't printed trillions of dollars and much of it is just sitting in some government vault somewhere. Maybe Michelle found a secret passageway into that vault, it doesn't matter how well a man thinks he's hidden his money, a woman will always find it.

I just want POTUS, FLOTUS and TOTUS to be retired after Jan 20, 2013

Dumb downed society = the ones that blindly follow their leader without any amount of fair criticism. Even if I take you at your "assumption" that $10 million is not accurate you still have plenty of other documented cases of lavish spending on the part of the Obamas. If you can't see the problem with that type of spending of tax payer money in a recession then I'd say you are part of the dumbed down society.

Who's is blindly following the President? Who said the number is accurate or inaccurate?

Yeah, I am quoting a right wing blog as fact and I am part of the dumbed down society? You're on top of it. :birgits_giggle:

Never said it's accurate or inaccurate. I said I know the difference in news and opinion blogs. Do you?

There is no opinion about this. If you want to refute those numbers, I provided the source material. Can't say that it's not credible. The NYT has shown plenty of times that it is not.

Obama has been more successful in the War on terror in his short term, than Bush ever was.

Deny it.

Please.

Obama's only real success has been the death of OBL, which shouldn't be minimized, but that one event doesn't really compare with liberating two countries.

Afghanistan is liberated?

You better go tell them.

Calling Iraq liberated is a stretch at best. (It's also nothing to with the War on Terror, but whatever)

Also ironic is that Obama is using virtually every tactic in his war on terror that he condemned when W was using them.

Iraq has had several democratic elections since the fall of Saddam. It's not perfect, but it's relatively stable considering what's happening in the surrounding countries.

Your pals in Iran aren't helping matters any, they have as much American and Iraqi blood on their hands as anybody.

Afghanistan was liberated from the Taliban. Unfortunately, because of it's culture, it will likely fall back under the rule of the Taliban, or some group even worse.

I posted the article to be read, yes. And in the article the author posted the source where he got it and told the reader that we don't have a total number as of yet. There's plenty of sources out there of Michelle's lavish spending. I don't need to go track them down for you. If she can spend 1/2 a million on one trip to Africa, $10 million over the past 3 years is not that out of reach.

Apt analogy

If you're clueless.

Nonetheless, conservatives continued to lampoon the idea of taking the fight directly to the terrorist networks through smart law enforcement and intelligence efforts. During the 2004 campaign, for example, then-President George W. Bush criticized his opponent, Sen. John Kerry (D-MA), for calling the fight against these groups “less of a military operation, and more of an intelligence-gathering and law enforcement operation.” More recently, former Vice President Dick Cheney this past spring emerged to blast the Obama administration for going “back to the law enforcement mode.”

Who said anything about the NYT?

Have you ever read the NYT?

You still haven't answered my question. Do you know the difference between news and op-ed opinions?

Your posts would suggest that maybe you don't

No, no one here has ever read the NYT.
