Michigan St. @ Indiana

holy crap. If Tennessee would play with half the toughness and heart that Indiana is showing, they would be in exponentially better shape.

That guy has hands of stone. That is at least 4 times that has happened in this game.

When things are going badly, they are going badly. Of course, Indiana can't hit a shot now.

So please tell me how Charleston beating one SEC team that isn't even the overall leader in the conference is in any way comparable to MSU beating the conference leader and two other teams from the conference that will be in the NCAAs.

I'm not sure you understand sentences.

That is the whole point: aberrations and context are relevant, simple Ws are not.

Kansas would wipe the floor with MSU today; texas and ok. state are turnstile teams.

great run at the end there, but my lord, both teams looked horrible at key stretches. For a 1st vs last game, this sure looked like parity.

damn.

this team has come miles and miles from the team i saw lose to Gonzaga back in December.

it's a hard one to take, regardless of the fact that IU had no business being in the game to begin with. at least Purdue has no shot at the Big 10 title now. i can deal with a gutsy effort and screwing Purdue out of a shot at the title.

They seem to actually be playing worse D since the gonzaga-time-frame, albeit a bit better O.

I'd really like to say they've improved, but watching each game has not shown that to be the case. We're essentially--where it matters--the same junk squad we were in december. I mean you lose by 16 to the zags one month, and by 18 to NW another month, i dunno, that says about exactly what I've been seeing right there.

Here's to hoping Crean can turn things around next year, cause this year was consistently pitiful.

1) It must take some balls for someone of your mental acuity to call someone else out for an inability to comprehend. For that sir, I commend you.

2) If simple Ws are not, then what's the point in even attempting to measure quality wins? So Kansas wasn't as good when MSU beat them, Texas was playing much better basketball when they they played, but apparently that doesn't matter to you because it doesn't help your argument.

3) How would you put it? That is merely conjecture. I could just as easily say "MSU would still beat Kansas." Neither one of us can prove it until they play.

i'm not sure what you were expecting from them this year.

1) What don't you get? I'm sorry you misunderstood the point, but I mean, it wasn't hard to grasp. You just missed it. Shake it off.

2) Do you really not know what the term 'quality' refers to? Are you also familiar with the term 'qualify'? Do you understand maybe how one could qualify a 'simple W' by saying, say, "it was early in the year when such and such..."?

3) Yes, that part was opinion.
