I agree. Wasn't the ball around midfield? I know when they pickup up ball it was around 6 seconds left. 6 seconds would have been a hailmary attempt because it would have been too far for field goal.

That's just dumb. They don't play heads up. And, yes, he's got something to laugh about, he's got your so called fan loyalty.

Even if you believe that, it does nothing at this point but cut into the 'Vol Nation'.

WTF WAS MICHIGAN DOING WITH 2 GUYS OUT WIDE. that is twilight zone madness. And am I blind or was no one there to return to punt for Mich St...?,... How you not recognize that???

it's like everyone in the stadium knew Michigan State was going all out for that punt....well everyone except Jim Harbaugh and few guys on the Michigan line who look like they just fell over after Mich St breathed on them.

i *almost* feel bad for michigan fans

MaTaLa, I realize that they don't play head to head, If you read what I said, I didn't say that they did. It was about the op's statement. Yes Harbough is an excellent proven HC and winner at every level he has coached at, and congrats to U of M for seeking out and getting a great coach. So if your feelings are hurt sorry, but its the truth. Yes the school has had my loyalty for many years even with Cheek and Hart still there. The amount of money that I have spent in season tickets over the last twenty years would probably stagger you.

Did you guys notice the player that returned the fumble on the last play was injured and all of his teammates were yanking and jerking on him while he was on the ground? He was slapping at them and they were bouncing him around by his shoulder pads....

You are right. Butch doesn't have a track record of success like Harbaugh has, so fans don't cut him any slack. For the sake of argument, if Gruden (sorry for the hypothetical) was our coach and we had the exact same results as under Butch, nobody would be calling for his head because trust was already established before he got here. It's the same reason Majors got so much time to turn it around. He had a track record of success from Pitt and had our trust from the start.
