Mickey Friggin Dearstone...

again, another person who has probably seen one or 2 of my rant vids and assumes the worst. you're welcome to your opinion, as am I. as long as i continue to donate to UT and follow the sports programs, I will continue to voice my opinion on whatever I choose in relation to UT sports.

Like I said, you love the attention.

someone on here asked for a link. until this one, i've never posted a link on here before and don't worry, it wont happen again. People like yourself are living proof that a college education any more is nothing more than a stamped, signed peice of paper required to prove their percieved superiority. unfortunately every fanbase has your type and my type. I guess that's what keeps me out of Regis and you out of reality.
Don't give up. Your wit will one day win him over and he'll give in.

I think the point is that the Administration hung Pat out to dry after they fired Bruce. They did it on the game day, made no public comment, and she was left to be the first to respond on national television after her game that night. Moreover, her team was playing on the day they hired Zo. She should have known who he was and about the hire before facing the cameras at the end of the game. I think John Adams made this point in an article in the Knoxville News Sentinel. If she is going on national TV to represent the University, she should at least know what is going on.

CCM called Summit Monday morning before her game to wish her luck.

I wouldn't want to play for summit. Her interview after the loss to ND was a little too harsh.

She is also terrible to look at.

I hope we haven't offended you to the point of cancelling your YouTube channel.

That'd really teach us a lesson.

right you are. You've convinced me to stop. thanks for showing me the light. I now submit my resignation to the high order of volnation and vow to never show my hideous face on youtube again. what the H@#$ was i thinking.....Have a great weekend sir.

No, no one asked for a link. They called your youtube stuff what it is, low-rent garbage. Then, in an attempt to boost your ego, you decided to put a link up. It's actually quite hilarious that you're accusing other people of being conceited.

actually i could care less about my own ego, or lack thereof. i do youtube vids for fun and anytime knowing that they get under the skin of some only makes it that much more fun to me. I have however decided that youtube, or the tennessee fan base no longer needs my opinion. This site has shown me the light. Thanks for helping me wise up. all the credit goes to you guys. Go vols, please accept my sincere appology if I have offended any vols fan with my crazy, misguided antics on youtube. I should have had enough sense to just stick to posting comments on fan forums. Pleas forgive.

It may be the worst sports talk show I've ever heard. The funny thing is that I've never talked to anybody that thought otherwise.

Maybe, but you probably haven't had the honor and distinction of listening to the geriatric duo of Joe B. Hall and Denny Crum every week here in KY. It's like trying to decipher latin with a french dictionary.

Right there with you! People ask why I listen to Basilio, Rucker, or the Animal; and you just answered it. I stream Knox radio in office but sometimes listen to Joe B and Denny while in car. I see Joe B around town often. Seems to be nice guy I guess. Joe B and Denny talk more fishing than sports. I don't mind the Lexington afternoon show though. I of course prefer TN talk but those guys talk about other teams and actually admit they are fans unlike many in Knox who try too hard to make the public think they have no rooting interest.

Hey! Easy! I have a pinup of Summit in that cheerleading uniform she put on for Pearl above my bed. Who doesn't?!

If you are indeed the real BVD on Youtube, I must insist that you continue your videos. Please.

I like your videos.

I heard "Penny" on 990 talking to Dearstone hating on Pearl, hating on Vols, and giving luv to the "Lite" Blue Heels. Always knew he was Pearl hater and Heel lover, but first time that I heard he was a hate vol. Actually that is a misquote. I believe he said he was not a fan of UT instead of saying he was a Vol hat er.

That morning show needs someone with a good sense of humor and a personality. Actually that whole station does.

No. Tell.

As best as I can remember...

Penny and Mickey were chatting about coaches and cheating. Mickey agreed that coaches that cheat were bad. Then, Penny asked if Mickey's definition included Coach Pearl (following the raw definition, it logically did). Penny kept trying to say that Mickey's opinion should mean CBP is a bad coach, and Mickey eventually told him to stop talking about the issue or he would hang up on him.

I get the strange feeling that the people on this show don't take criticism that well.

Again, this is the best that I can remember of the dialogue that went on this morning.

Personally, I got the feeling that Penny (biased though he was) had a valid point, and Mickey, instead of admitting a verbal/logical mistake, or creating a better definition, Mickey resorted to the "I'll hang up on you" threat. He seems to do that regularly with people he disagrees with...

Penny also asked Mickey about certain coaches, if they were good or not. He then said the whole list had NCAA tourney wins vacated. Funny moment. The list surprised me. I don't mind Dearstone as much as most do, I guess it depends on the topic they are discussing. He is better than Griff imo. I like Vince Ferraro and Jesse Smithey, though he is rarely on. Will West may be the one with the most knowledge and personality, just gets a little immature at times with humor.
