So by my count these are the only possible conference tournaments left in which bids could be stolen...


Patriot League: Bucknell*
Sun Belt: MTSU
C-USA: Memphis


Someone please correct me if I missed some.

Liberty, who is 15-20, just won the Big South tournament. Does this steal a bid from anyone or was the Big South just gonna be a 1-bid conf anyway?

No that's a one bid league

These are the only smaller conference tournaments left in which bids can be stolen IMO:

Middle tips against FIU in an hour in the Sun Belt semis.

Wichita winning today would have gave us a bump in the RPI, but them and Creighton both were already in. Everything has gone as well as we could hope to this point. Belmont won. Creighton won. Both Akron and Louisiana Tech are off the at-large line now with losses over the weekend, too.

And now Lunardi has us in first four out. Not replaced by Middle TN who is also in first four out, but Virginia. A crappy team that beat us when the team was playing bad. Virginia's OOC SOS is 304. Pisses me off so bad.

Just shows that we still have work to do to be "comfortably" in. Must beat Bama, or we still bounce in and out.

One may be enough, but we will continue this not knowing and omg he says we in omg now we are out

Win 2 and I think we are comfortably in according to everyone, including the committee

If a low seed makes a run in a big Conference we might need 3 wins depending on where middle falls. I think they are out but who knows. One thing I do know is they won't get one bit of help from their Conferecne office pushing them

They appear to be out according to bracketology guys...I think 2 is enough for us.

I don't see all the other last 4 in going 2-1

BTO, I agree that two is enough. It makes me mad to see all the 300+ OOC SOS teams with RPI's ahead of us.

There has been a lot of shifting in the projections the last couple days. I may have been a little hasty in some of the assumptions in the OP. We need to pull for the Zags tonight. St Mary's has been on the decline in the projections, and a loss tonight will knock them down close to the 'Last Four In' category. It also looks like Wichita isn't as safely in as what I assumed. I think most everyone is projecting them in right now, but they are a team that we could jump over with 2 wins.
