Mid-Major tournaments to watch

There has been a lot of shifting in the projections the last couple days. I may have been a little hasty in some of the assumptions in the OP. We need to pull for the Zags tonight. St Mary's has been on the decline in the projections, and a loss tonight will knock them down close to the 'Last Four In' category. It also looks like Wichita isn't as safely in as what I assumed. I think most everyone is projecting them in right now, but they are a team that we could jump over with 2 wins.

Yea mid majors aren't getting love, Wichita, st Mary's, MTSU...not as safe as many thought it seems, wonder if committe feels the same?

I'm not sure about Wichita and St Mary's, but with MTSU, everyone was going on the assumption that they would win the conference tourney. Now that they've been put out, everyone is analyzing their resume more than before. Other than a high number of wins and a good RPI, there's not much else there. After their home win over Ole Miss, their next best win was @ UCF.

Agree 100%. Not sure why MTSU's RPI is so high.

Wins...it is the flaw of RPI...your RPI will be high as long as you win, probably doesn't take SOS into account enough, or quality of opponents.

I forgot to add that the Zags were Ben's team in the previous post, which would give even more incentive to root for them. My bad.
