The left wants to make muslims a protected class like black women, and tiptoe around them. They will use that against what we stand for if they can. Any muslim group, town, neighborhood, etc that in any way tries to change things about how they are governed or the law need to be swiftly dealt with in the way that Waco was unnecessarily dealt with...but in a manner that respects our constitution. What happened to those zealots in texas was downright criminal, and murder, and the feds and or locals should have been prosecuted for doing that to US citizens. Seems our govt is quick to stomp on any Christians that get out of line but they are scared to do the same to muslims. Thats crap.

Even if a city elects a muslim mayor and council they cannot pass unconstitutional laws. If they do it will, as you say, be swiftly dealt with.

It's the house rules that is enforced by the speaker. Was just typing last night. They are labeling it a "religious headwear" so unfortunately no red hats will make it in. But, shouldn't this be any headwear not just religious headwear? I mean we want to be fair here to everyone right? Tex might want to wear his 10 gallon cowboy hat one day also.

Agree with this...and by winter, you mean arctic insanely cold, human flesh freezes in 90 seconds if exposed, winter. My dad lived in mankato, Minnesota for a couple years. I went there for Christmas once. It was negative 30 at night...pretty sure all of Canada gets at least that cold since it is further north. They can keep that crap...

Snowmobiles and having snowmobile lanes next to all the roads are really cool though. Its like if there was a cart path next to every road in tennessee and everyone had a dirtbike to ride ...again, except for that unbearable cold thing. Negative 30 with a 40mph wind chill ....hmmm, maybe not that cool on second thought

I think if you want the reality of the situation in Dearborn, Detroit and etc. you should talk to someone that lives or lived there. I have a customer that relocated to the Nashville area due to the influx of Muslims and their impact on the community..... and no.... he's not a white nationalist.... he's a black man and a small business owner.
To here him describe it firsthand was eye opening to say the least.

This is one of the dumbest threads I have ever seen. This looks like a big non-issue. What is the harm in what I saw in that video? I get so sick of the far right whack jobs and their tired refrain of "our country," "our religion," and "our customs." Who appointed them the keeper of the eternal flame?

Of course it's a non-issue but they're Muslims and you know how that sets off the righties. They're all for religious freedom as long as it's the right religion

Scene? I wanted some input from both sides. From the comments of people living there they are definitely worried about whats going on. We are just commenting, they're living in it.

He lives here now.... but one of the issues he did mention was how Muslims were ruining established businesses and franchises. I don't recall his exact words because our conversation was several years ago, but he basically said they cheapen the brand, destroy quality and etc..
he also said they aren't "assimilating" at all

Because I can read?? Are you insisting when someone writes "My city of Toronto needs to stop these types of gathering" that they are lying about where they live?
