So frustrated that we dropped that Arkansas game and put ourselves in a situation where we needed to beat them in Athens.

I don’t understand why he went to a 4-3-4 against Georgia ?? Everybody that watches football knows they ain’t gonna run it. Why put another linebacker in coverage?.. yea I’m disappointed too

You are ignorant! Tim Banks and Martinez haven't gotten UT to the top of the SEC. When has UT won the SEC? When has UT played in the SEC Championship? Now, my take on the game. Our so-called elite defense didn't look elite last night. Nor against the previous three of our opponents. We get gashed on long runs. Ga made our secondary look practically Chattanooga level. Our WRs have butterfingeritis, our front four, hate to say it, Georgia's pacthwork OL dominated our DL to the point, it looked like they quit later in the game. The slobbering mutts could have tacked on two more TDs, but Kirby decided to be merciful.

All we can do now is brush the dist off our shirts and britches, grit our teeth, and play the next two games with a new determination. And, and, for our fans, perhaps be a bit less arrogant when we experience success. I understand the renewed Vol pride after better than a decade trapped in the pit of discontent. But remember: Arrogance is a nasty bassard, he's married to Karma.

OP made the classic mistake in this thread of listening to what UGA fans say about their own team/coaches. While their football team might be pretty good most years, UGA fans are the most stupid fans, football knowledge wise, in the SEC (and in other ways as well). The wives of most Vol fans have superior football knowledge to most UGA fans. Georgia fans wanted to bench Stetson Bennett up until his last game and he won them 2 national championships.

Mike Bobo is actually a pretty good coach. He coached Matt Stafford and Aaron Murray and has had multiple offenses that were top third in the league. We now have a record of 2-8 against him as UGA's offensive coordinator.

Although it has been mainly the D that is the reason for that record. Bobo has definitely made Banks look like a chump! So much for that elite D most thought that UT had.

Most of that record was 2007-14, only the last 2 games have been with Kirby defense.

I agree. I can be negative after a loss. But, I have been saying I haven't been sold on Banks from day one. I am still not sold on him. The first UT game vs a QB in the top 20 in yards passed for the season results in giving up about 350 yards passing, 3 TDs, and 31 pts. Banks isn't the ELITE DC UT needs!
