MH is just trying to act like he is innocent and he probably knew about the bump violation the entire time.The day Tn gets rid of Hammy there should be a big mattress burning for celebration.

It was inevitable from the start. Even before the letter I think that the NCAA was going to make him impossible to keep. They don't like liars (i.e. Dez Bryant). Do you guys think the team knew for sure and that has caused their bad play? I know this is stupid but there has to be a reason that we are playing this bad for so long. Teams like us should break out of this funk and it shouldn't last for a whole season..

Do the Double Hamilton Headfake!

Here's the Devil's Advocate viewpoint: Hamilton dropping the verbal bomb on the radio will have the opposite effect. The players become galvanized, and rally around their coach like they have not done in 2011.

Second, AD Hamilton saying what he did when he did endears him to the NCAA coppers. If Hamilton had said that BP was UT's coach come he!! or high water, then the NCAA would hand down a sentence that would necessitate firing Pearl. By backing away from Pearl, apparently, Hamilton may save UT men's basketball from a near-death sentence.

Hamilton is simply distancing himself from "I hired Pearl" to a position of "I fired Pearl". I can almost guarentee you MH did not release these comments without the approval of some higher ups. The timing makes sense to me. First, it stems the emotional tide if we should have deep run in the tourney. Second, I think it could work to our advantage with NCAA sanctions in that we were already going to dismiss Pearl prior to the tourney results.

Let me start this statement by saying that I in no way hold up for a person who cannot tell the truth. Now let me first ask those who want Pearl gone to please tell me who is Tennessee going to get who has the charisma and the personality that he has? Why is everyone so sure that their is a better coach out there, hell I guess they just grow on trees like money. How quick is everyone to forget where this program was before Pearl got here? And at last let me say "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

All I'm saying is sometimes we need to watch what we wish for. I agree and disagree sometimes the program speaks for itself but if that was the case, would it not have done that in the pre Pearl era also? I mean we were suppose to be a big name university before he got here. Sometimes though the coach makes a bigger difference than some might think. Let's remember this is not the football program, it will not be has easy to replace Pearl like it did Kiffin.

Bruce will be fired within the week. Hopson and Harris will declare for the draft. John Pelphrey will be hired, keep our recruits and bring some of his topf 5 class along with him. You heard it here first.
