My thoughts exactly. But then again, has there ever been any rhyme or reason to why Mike Hamilton does the things he does. More times than not, he just leaves everyone shaking their head at his decisions.
It makes perfect, Machiavellian sense. He knows he has to fire Pearl if he won't go quietly. A run in the 'AAs would make that a tougher sell to the public. He simply did what he could today to lessen the odds of that happening.
Now that i got my head out of my ass let me see if I can spell this out for you. I was referring to basketball success at tenn (that is who u are a fan of right?) during your lifetime. Hell buddy i refernced several threads were u point that out. My point is dont be the douche that pretends to be different when u held that point of view on this very site. And calling him bruce was being affectionate? Sorry i assumed that was his name.Fact is Bruce, as you affectionately refer to him, is not any more successful than other coaches in my lifetime. That is unless you consider one elite 8 as the end all and give him credit for that beyond any thing else. I don't consider a coach who is on the verge of destroying the program due to his unethical behavior as being ultra successful, as you do. If you would get your head out of his ass long enough, you would also have to agree with this position.
