That being said, thank God I don’t look at it for anything else. The absolute $h!+ I’m reading is disgusting. There has to be a special place in he!! for some people.

I can't imagine why people would post anything other than prayers and support for a man fighting for his life. Every time I think I'm going to create a Twitter account, I walk away. That may be the biggest reason why.

The fact he was airlifted from Starksville to Jackson hours ago and that we've had no official word that he's stable and recovering says volumes.

Would you like it if you had a heart attack or stroke or anything else, and the hospital posted updates on your condition? Would your family, immediate and extended, want to have to monitor releases to be sure that they were correct, and follow up attempted fixes to see if they were accurate? —anyone who has been even slightly involved with a news-worthy event knows how flawed news coverage can be.

Presumably he has something set up with his family regarding how he wants serious medical events to be handled (hint: you should too), and probably something also with MSU, with family authorizing what would be released and when.
