I think the problem most have is it was always against the rules of the SPORT before this season.

I personally have no problem with it.
The rules have always been changing.

Imagine how big of a change it was in the early days when this football thing started getting popular, university admins started seeing marketing/reputation/monetary benefits from having a good football team, so they started letting students attend school for free if they were good football players. Scholarships not for academic ability, but athletic ability.

I imagine that was an absolutely radical concept at the time, way more radical than NIL.

Well like I said, I don’t have a problem with. Things change, it is what it is. It will be interesting to see what rules and regulations come from it similar to athletic scholarships once the dust settles from the newness.

Everyone does realize that the vast majority of schools lose massive money going to these bowls right?
