In all seriousness if Vols continously have really good seasons but get ousted early in tourney any program would have to look at making a change. It's not weird or odd to look at that. Personally...I'd rather have a team that is relevant and piles up a lot of wins but falls short in tourney than an average/bad team every year. At least you have hope...but I don't think it's weird to question Barnes future if you continue to bow out early in tourney.

I guess it is fair to question it if you are a Vols Fan, but if you are a troll take a hike.

I guess it is one thing to fairly question it if you are a Vols Fan, but you better have a replacement on deck.
If a troll does it, then move on.

Bottom Line Barnes is going to be here for a while. I don't see us kicking him to the curb.

The only reason to question the future of Rick Barnes is his age ... He will turn 69 in July.

Barnes will never be fired by Tennessee.

We aren't going to pay a $15 million buyout to rid ourselves of a basketball coach who normally does make the NCAA Tournament, has a winning record vs Kentucky, has won the SEC Tournament, and recruits at a high level (by the historical standards of Tennessee basketball).

How can anyone say “Barnes should be fired”. Tennessee is in better shape from a program standpoint than they have ever been. No, I’m not happy with our tournament loses, or even some big game loses, but nothing is so bad as to fire Rick Barnes. We are not far removed from suffering through losing seasons and planning vacations in March. Be careful what you wish for.

He's a guy who has posted here for years and usually posts a while, gets mad and leaves, then shows up months later with a new name and posting in almost the exact same style. It's easy to tell it's him and usually he'll end up posting something dumb, people call him Dave, then he gets mad and leaves again. Rinse and repeat.

His past names have been Dave1967, Mike1967, PruittWillDoIt, Tennesseefan2019, Volnut67 , and his latest Jeff Clark. He last posted as Jeff Clark in early December.
