This makes the decision only more puzzling. There needs to be more ball movement and player movement to beat a zone defense. Two things that Hall has shown an inability, or unwillingness to do this year. Miller was much more active and aggressive in setting his picks offensively. Kenny just has such a lethargic approach to basketball, and it leads to laziness and stupid fouls.

Buzz Martin not playing Miler because of a zone does not make sense. Miller is quicker and should give more opportunity to get inside movement with the ball. I agree on Kenny Hall. He is a filler not a starter.

If I saw zone, i'd sit hall and play miller with maymon. Miller can pop out and he and maymon could get the ball at the ft line and make something happen.
I'd have rather CM say that they got off kilter and forgot to play him.
If your 4 and 5 can pop out and be a threat, the other team can't zone. Not only can you shoot, but the D has to defend farther out and lanes of penetration open up.
