Sums it up. Either the politicians need to do something other than funding these border hotels, or, maybe, the people of the states affected need to go ahead and take action on their own due to the governments inability to act, and it's complicity in enabling the actions of these people due to their inability to do their jobs, which isn't to endow billions and billions for non citizens who aren't following the laws in existence.

CBP officials seize entire ship that held 20 tons of cocaine

US Customs and Border Protection authorities recently seized the entire ship on which they discovered a whopping 20 tons of cocaine last month — the largest vessel seizure in the agency’s 230-year history, according to a new statement.

Authorities executed a seizure warrant on the Fourth of July for the MSC Gayane, which was discovered with about $1 billion of the illicit substance on board on June 17, officials said in a Monday statement.

“Seizing a vessel of this size is an unusual enforcement action for CBP, but is indicative of the serious consequences associated with an alleged conspiracy by crewmembers and others to smuggle a record load of dangerous drugs through the United States,” Casey Durst, director of field operations for Customs and Border Patrol in Baltimore, said in the statement. “This action serves as a reminder for all shipping lines and vessel masters of their responsibilities under U.S. and international law to implement and enforce stringent security measures to prevent smuggling attempts such as this.”

When stacked end to end, the bricks of cocaine confiscated from the ship would stretch about 2½ miles, officials have said.

Sanctuary State: Illegal Alien Accused of Killing Father of Two Ordered Deported Six Years Ago

An illegal alien accused of killing a father of two in a hit-and-run crash was ordered deported about six years ago, federal officials reveal, in the sanctuary state of Illinois.

Jose Rodriguez, a 27-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, is accused of running a red light on June 22 in Bloomington, Illinois, causing him to hit and kill 39-year-old Corey Cottrell, a father of two daughters, who was riding his motorcycle at the time and was on his way to see his mother, Kathy.

According to prosecutors, Rodriguez fled the scene of the crash after hitting Cottrell. The following day, the illegal alien turned himself into law enforcement officials and has since been charged with causing a deadly hit-and-run and driving without a license. Just days after being charged, though, Rodriguez was allowed to post bail and be released.

Prairie State Wire’s W.J. Kennedy confirmed with federal immigration officials that Rodriguez had been living in the U.S. as an illegal alien for years. Details of Rodriguez’s immigration history, obtained by Kennedy, reveal that in 2013 the illegal alien was issued an expedited deportation order.

The next year, on March 6, 2014, Rodriguez was issued a final deportation order by an immigration judge in a trial that he did not show up to, Kennedy reports.

“[Rodriguez] is considered an ICE fugitive,” a federal immigration official told Kennedy.

Cottrell leaves behind his mother, Kathy; his 11- and 14-year-old daughters, Karina and Alexandra; his sister Shanna; his grandmother Virginia; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
