Anti-ICE protesters pull down American flag, raise Mexico flag, vandalize 'Blue Lives Matter' flag

Authorities in Colorado restored an American flag to its place Friday evening after protesters demonstrating outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility pulled down the star-spangled banner and flew the flag of Mexico in its place.

The protesters also removed a “Blue Lives Matter” flag, honoring law enforcement, spray-painted it with the words “Abolish ICE,” then raised the flag upside-down, on a pole next to the Mexican flag, according to local media.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Bans ICE from Police Database Before Raids

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) said Wednesday that the Windy City has made moves to bar Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from accessing its police databases amid reports of potential raids in more than 10 major U.S. cities slated for Sunday.

“They will not team up with ICE to detain any resident. We have also cut off ICE access from any CPD databases and that will remain permanent,” Lightfoot said. “Chicago is and will always be a welcoming city that will never tolerate ICE tearing our families apart.”

Wonder how she would feel if the Chicago PD got cut off from the federal database?

It's one thing to stand out there in pink hats and yell. When they start touching public property or defacing it, it's time to arrest people.

Nogales Station agents arrested a Mexican national after he illegally crossed the border on Wednesday afternoon. The agents conducted a biometric background investigation and learned the 30-year-old man has active warrants from the Spanish Fork, Utah, Sheriff’s Office, according to information provided by Tucson Sector Border Patrol officials.

The Mexican man will be extradited to Utah where he will face charges of two counts of raping a child and aggravated sexual abuse of a child, officials reported. Following adjudication in Utah, the illegal alien will face removal proceedings from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations.

The following day, San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents arrested another Mexican national with a felony conviction for Child Cruelty, Border Patrol officials reported. Agents observed the man, later identified as 43-year-old Jose Segura-Garcia, illegally cross the border from Mexico about five and one-half miles from the Tecate Port of Entry.

During a biometric background investigation, agents learned that Segura-Garcia received a conviction from a California court for felony Child Cruelty with the possibility of great bodily injury or death in 2009, the report continued. The court sentenced the man to 96 months in state prison.

The Mexican national has a lengthy criminal history dating back to 1991 that includes “numerous misdemeanors and felonies, ranging from DUI, robbery, multiple counts of battery, including battery on a spouse with a deadly weapon and battery with serious bodily injury.” He is being held in federal custody pending further criminal proceedings.

O’Donnell spoke at the vigil in New York City Friday night, asking the crowd to “look around” and see what “America stands for.”

“The signs are beautiful. The sentiment here is beautiful. Don’t forget people. Look around. This is who we are,” she said. “This is what America stands for. All colors all shapes all sizes, all nationalities, sexualities, genders, transgender.”

Police: Man with Rifle, ‘Incendiary Devices’ Attacked Migrant Detention Center Hours After ICE Protest

An employee at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma called police early Saturday morning to report a man with a rifle who was throwing “incendiary devices” and setting vehicles on fire, according to a report by QFox13.

The attack on the migrant detention center followed by several hours, a rally by migrant supporters outside the facility operated for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement by GEO Group.

It is unknown at this time if the individual was attacking the facility with anti-ICE motivations, anti-migrant motivations, or if it was unrelated to either motive; however, a statement from GEO Group, a Florida based company that operates the facility in Tacoma, attributed the attack to the anger resulting from misrepresentations in media.

I have owned stock in GEO for a few years for the 10% dividend. I guess the left will try to ruin them.

Portland, Maine to Move 40 Asylum Seekers to Private Housing in Brunswick

Officials in Portland, Maine are making arrangements to move some asylum seekers from emergency shelters to private housing in the nearby town of Brunswick, Maine. WGME-TV reports that 12 asylum seekers moved into private housing in Brunswick on Friday, and a total of 40 are expected to move into temporary, rent-free housing for up to three months. The housing is offered by a Brunswick housing director, but the city of Portland will continue to ensure that services like food, education and health care are provided to the families. The city of Portland has been housing more than 250 immigrants in the Portland Expo basketball arena as officials try to find a longer term solution because the shelter is only available through mid-August. Maine Public Radio reports that the city can accommodate about 110 people in overflow shelters, but expects needing to find housing for about 150 people over the next month.

Would anyone like to guess who gets kicked out of this housing so illegals can move in? It's exactly why California has only Americans laying all over the streets.

Likely one of the tactics the Dim congressional traitors have been teaching them. A single guy is a lot more likely to get across with a kid ... so get a kid ... any kid. It's likely the reason they have had such a difficult time matching kids and parents ... they were never kid and parent in the first place, but blame the people trying to manage things as incompetent and uncaring.

GEO Group, which runs the 1,575-bed Northwest Detention Center, in an email to The Associated Press said baseless accusations about how detainees are treated at its facilities "have led to misplaced aggression and a dangerous environment for our employees, whose safety is our top priority. Violence of any kind against our employees and property will not be tolerated. We are thankful for the quick and brave action by the Tacoma Police Department, which prevented innocent lives from being endangered."

I worry about their stock, and their 10% dividend. It has gone down lately due to all this crap against private companies running prisons and detention facilities..
