Mexico has almost completely cleared out its migrant centers as a precaution against the coronavirus outbreak, its government announced.

The National Migration Institute (INM), the agency in Mexico that manages immigration, said it has been deporting immigrants from the country’s 65 migrant facilities since March 21, according to Reuters. The actions are being made in order to comply with safety and health guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Mexico’s government migrant centers housed 3,759 people in March. In recent weeks, authorities have repatriated 3,653 migrants back to Guatemala, El Salvador and Guatemala by air and road.

INM’s migrant shelters and centers have a maximum capacity of 8,524 spaces, but the agency said only 106 individuals remain.

Illegal Alien Arrested for Beheading Cat, Parading Severed Head on Stick

An illegal alien has been arrested in Clearwater, Florida, for allegedly beheading his family’s cat and then displaying the severed head on a stick.

FL-illegal-alien-640x480.jpg

Joshua Daniel Pena-Cedillo, a 22-year-old illegal alien, was arrested last week by the Clearwater Police Department after officials said he allegedly beheaded his family’s cat, named Cinnamon, with an axe.

Pena-Cedillo, police said, first attempted to strangle the cat. After failing to kill the cat, he then used a plastic bag to suffocate the cat. When that failed, police said Pena-Cedillo took an axe to the cat’s head.

Police said Pena-Cedillo took the cat’s severed head and allegedly placed it on a post in his backyard. The illegal alien allegedly told police he beheaded the cat to “show what he was capable of to someone he was living with.”

Now, Pena-Cedillo is being heled without bail in the Pinellas County Jail after being charged with animal cruelty. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has requested that Pena-Cedillo be turned over to them for arrest and deportation should he be released.

The US Has Finalized An Asylum Agreement With Honduras

The Trump administration reached a milestone in its efforts to lock down an asylum agreement with the government of Honduras, which will make it even easier for the United States to deport illegal migrants appearing at the southern border.

The administration on Thursday released an unpublished version of its asylum agreement with Honduras on the Federal Register, and is expected to publish the official version on Friday. The agreement, much like a deal reached with Guatemala in 2019, will allow the United States to reroute some asylum seekers who arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border back to Honduras.

The plan will ultimately mitigate the flow of illegal immigration pouring across the southern border, which was hit with a humanitarian crisis in 2019 amid a surge of family units from Central America. Sending migrants back to Central America, the administration argued, weakens the incentive for illegal immigration.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) did not respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation about the upcoming agreement or when it could go into effect.

The upcoming agreement came as the United States, which is fighting off a global pandemic, is quickly returning nearly all illegal entrants who arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border. The policy is part of the administration’s ban on all “non-essential” travel at both the northern and southern borders, an attempt to stem the coronavirus outbreak.

Ginsburg Eviscerates 9th Circuit’s Handling of Immigration Consultant's Case

Authoring a unanimous Supreme Court opinion, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg tore into the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for "drastically" straying from judicial norms when hearing a case involving a California immigration consultant.

After Evelyn Sineneng-Smith had been convicted of violating a federal law related to encouraging illegal immigration, the Ninth Circuit reversed the decision, not based on arguments presented by Sineneng-Smith, but by third parties the court brought in to submit arguments that the panel of judges themselves had suggested.

"[T]he appeals panel departed so drastically from the principle of party presentation as to constitute an abuse of discretion," Ginsburg wrote, later stating that "a court is not hidebound by the precise arguments of counsel, but the Ninth Circuit’s radical transformation of this case goes well beyond the pale."

The Supreme Court sent the case back down the Ninth Circuit "for reconsideration ... bearing a fair resemblance to the case shaped by the parties."

Sanctuary California: Illegal Alien Child Rapist Freed Six Times into U.S.

A “Most Wanted” illegal alien convicted of raping a minor and domestic violence was released six times into the United States thanks to California’s sanctuary state policy before he was captured by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.

Most-Wanted-640x480.jpg

Kristian Jonas Gamez Trejo, a 25-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, first entered the U.S. illegally prior to April 2014 before he was deported months later in June. The following year, he illegally returned to the country and was deported in December 2015.

Two months after his release from jail, Gamez was convicted of felony sex with a minor and sentenced to 87 days in jail along with five years of probation. Throughout 2017, Gamez was arrested four times in San Francisco on various charges. Each time, police released Gamez rather than turning him over to ICE.

In April 2019, Gamez was again arrested by San Francisco officials on domestic violence charges. In October 2019, Gamez was convicted of misdemeanor battery and given a 180-day jail sentence. In February 2020, San Francisco officials released Gamez for the sixth time instead of honoring ICE’s request to turn him over to their custody.

On April 28, ICE finally captured Gamez after years of the illegal alien being on the agency’s Most Wanted list.

“There is no reason this convicted child predator should have been turned loose into our community,” ICE official David Jennings said in a statement. “Even California’s misguided SB54 sanctuary policy allows local authorities to turn over to ICE any criminal aliens convicted of felony crimes of sexual exploitation or crimes endangering children.”

ICE officials have said that Los Angeles County, California, alone, releases up to 100 criminal illegal aliens a day from its county jails. In two years, California set loose at least 5,600 criminal illegal aliens back into American communities rather than turning them over to ICE.

Encouraging Illegal Aliens To Remain In The US Is A Crime, Supreme Court Rules

The Supreme Court unanimously upheld a federal statute that forbids encouraging illegal aliens to remain in the U.S. unlawfully in a decision Thursday.

The Supreme Court justices voided an earlier decision by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which had ruled that a federal anti-harboring statute was unconstitutional on the grounds that it violated the First Amendment by restricting free speech. The ruling by the nation’s highest court Thursday upholds the law.

Supreme Court deals blow to Donald Trump by leaving California's Sanctuary State Law in place and refusing to review federal appeals court ruling that non-cooperation with ICE is legal

The Supreme Court on Monday handed President Trump a defeat in his legal showdown with the most-populous U.S. state, declining to hear his administration's challenge to 'sanctuary' laws in California that protect immigrants from deportation.

The justices left in place a lower court ruling that upheld the bulk of three laws in the Democratic-governed state that limit cooperation with federal immigration enforcement authorities.

The Trump administration had appealed that ruling to the high court, but with the Supreme Court's decision, that means the current law stays in place.

NBC News reported that two of the courts most conservative justices - Justice Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito - voted to take up the case, but they were overruled.

Illegal Alien Gets 2 Years in Jail for Returning to U.S. After Killing 4 Kids

An illegal alien, accused of killing three retired law enforcement officers and critically injuring nine others, had been out on bail and could have been deported in 2016 but never was.

Ivan Robles Navejas, a 28-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested and charged by the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office on six counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle and three counts of intoxicated vehicular manslaughter.

According to police, Navejas was driving drunk when he crashed into members of the Thin Blue Line motorcycle club — made up of active duty service members, law enforcement officers, and retired officers.

Records obtained by KENS 5 News reveal that Navejas has a criminal arrest record dating back to 2013. That year, Navejas was arrested for evading arrest and was eventually convicted in 2015.

In 2016, Navejas was arrested for driving drunk. The case was never prosecuted and although Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) came in contact with Navejas, the illegal alien was not enough of a priority to arrest and deport.

When the fatal crash occurred, Navejas had been out on bail for a 2018 case in which he allegedly hit a man with his truck — pinning him up against his truck and another vehicle — before biting his ear off and biting his back.

Navejas was arrested and detained on a $65,000 bail. He posted that bail and had been out awaiting trial at the time of the crash that killed Paglia, Harbour, and White.

Currently, Navejas is in Kerr County Jail on a $500,000 bail.

So he drove drunk because he was illegal? Is it your position that he killed those gents because we’re too lenient letting people into the country, or because we’re too lenient in deporting those here illegally?
