My logic is that taking money away from impoverished people isn't going to make the problem go away. In fact, it will likely exacerbate the problem. That's it, nothing else was implied. You're advocating for punishment when a solution is what's needed.
All the rest of your diatribe is what you think "ought" to happen - which is exponentially meaningless. That the right would suddenly be cool with spending that money "here at home" is a bit comical considering how you bellyache and grouse at the notion of the leaches getting to your tax dollars.
So true. Work on border security, work on immigration, work on DACA, and work on removing illegals in separate legislation. The extremes views are what's preventing anything from getting done. You may not see it this way, but the far right keeps going further right and anyone that disagrees is automatically far left.
I’m waiting on your solution , I hear your quips and snaky remarks, now lets hear something of substance from you for once . Tell us what your solution to the problem is since apparently you don’t mind giving money to countries that won’t work with us on stopping caravans like this from getting to out border through the whole length of their country .
I never implied I had a solution, just that Trump (and apparently parrots like you) hadn't thought his knee-jerk solution all the way through.
Uh huh...
The more interesting question is why that threat of pulling the aid didn't seem to phase them?
Do you expect they will quit coming if we pull their aid? That is the interesting question.
So they don’t understand the concept of money but they’re coming here for jobs?Maybe for the same reason that offering $1,000,000 to goat herders in exchange for Osama Bin Laden didn't work. The people don't understand that concept, they understand the value of chicken's, breeding goats and toyota hilux's.
Being involved with ministries that try to help the Mexican poor, I'll tell you what I know. Ministries try to bypass the gov't because the gov't pilfers even humanitarian supplies. The gov't tries to keep ministries from bypassing them. It's a constant cat and mouse game trying to directly help the poor and keep the gov't from taking the help. Some or all, you know as well as I do as soon as you start pulling the plug on a money supply, someone will take notice.
C'mon, Septic, you ever see a third world country where all the aid went to the people?
So they don’t understand the concept of money but they’re coming here for jobs?
