You asked why pulling the money "wouldn't phase them", I offered you a reason based on evidence of another third world American monetary incentive. The premise is the same, these people have different standards of what it means to be wealthy. Hint, it's not what we believe.

I'm referring to the various governments. You'd tend to think cutting that money would have at least generated a token attempt at stopping the caravan from crossing the border. At least Mexico can say they made the attempt in good faith as their actions have been public and reasonable.

No, the people don't care and this point I agree with. Why should they if they aren't receiving any benefits from this aid to begin with?

We need every kind. Prove otherwise. Also there is skilled labor in that group. My sister's contractor took 8 months to get her cabinets done because builders are so busy. There are probably 500 construction workers in that group

It's something I agree with Septic on. Such people can't grasp the concept of how good we actually have it here. They have an idea, a dream if you would, for a better life, but they can't grasp the depth of the "wealth" America offers. Wealth is more than just money.

Paved roads even to the smallest of towns? Unheard of in a lot of those places.

Grocery stores that typically (barring a hurricane) don't run out of food? It's as alien an idea as not having it would be to us.

Cops and government officials that don't require you to slap money in their hands in order to start an inquiry? A foreign concept (no pun intended)

Just the start and you get the idea. Wealth is a state of mind.

Oh i know it’s better here. I know they know it’s better here. They know it’s better here. A lot of them have already been here. The news this morning Interviewed a guy who had been deported.

Everyone knows why they want to come here, a better life. How and why do you want to prevent that? Will it make your life better or easier to keep them out? Does it make America stronger to keep them out or allow them in? Those are the questions that need to be asked.
