Did he refuse?
That seems silly to me, if indeed he did. As many times before, my problem with Trump very often is not with the broad concepts behind his ideas, but his articulation and execution of them.
So instead of allowing the plane with the handcuffed illegals land and have the cuffs removed, he insisted they fly back in handcuffs and remain jailed until his plane can come pick them up? Do you see how illogically stupid of an excuse this is? This story was created in an attempt to save face. They didn't. The issue is how they are transported. The Colombian President objects to the immigrants being handcuffed. He says they can use his plane as they will be treated differently.
That isn't good over well at the WH because it's defiance of Trump.
The Colombian President clearly is a man of high integrity. Not like our President. Maybe LG should move there. Live under the leadership of a man with empathy and compassion. So instead of allowing the plane with the handcuffed illegals land and have the cuffs removed, he insisted they fly back in handcuffs and remain jailed until his plane can come pick them up? Federal agents took nearly 50 illegal immigrants into custody early Sunday during an operation targeting the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA)'s networks in Colorado.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Rocky Mountain Field Division said its agents, as well as partners at the Denver offices for Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) conducted an early morning operation targeting drug trafficking and TdA members in Adams County, Colorado.

The White House said Sunday night that Colombia has agreed to the “unrestricted acceptance” of immigrants who entered the US illegally from Colombia and that President Donald Trump will not levy a 25% tariff on the country “unless Colombia fails to honor this agreement.”
“The Government of Colombia has agreed to all of President Trump’s terms, including the unrestricted acceptance of all illegal aliens from Colombia returned from the United States, including on U.S. military aircraft, without limitation or delay,” press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in the statement. “Based on this agreement, the fully drafted IEEPA tariffs and sanctions will be held in reserve, and not signed, unless Colombia fails to honor this agreement.”
Leavitt said tariffs and financial sanctions will be paused, but visa sanctions against Colombian officials and stricter customs inspections of Colombian nationals and cargo ships ordered by Trump earlier Sunday will remain in effect “until the first planeload of Colombian deportees is successfully returned.”

LG almost scored his first correct prediction,,,“Some may recall i predicted the planes would be refused.“
Add that to the long long long long list of predictions that didn’t work out. Yeah. They were refused. And then Trump came walking in like.
