you said we have changed our language. we haven't. more options isn't a bad thing. heck I haven't heard of a federal requirement to include spanish. right now its purely a capitalistic thing to offer spanish to increase your consumer base. Not banned.. I didn’t say banned , but we do accommodate all the Spanish speaking people in this country that can’t speak English .
so only half of those who speak something besides American at home speak Spanish. Go to any mass migration and you will see the same. Germans and Irish come to mind. if it wasn't for Hitler a large number of Americans would still be speaking German at home.

I believe it with the assimilation aspect. It's the same old bad arguments people have been making against immigration for centuries. The Italians did learn our language. The Germans did learn our language. The Hispanics are learning our language.
Freakonomics had a podcast about happiness and they shared a statistical irony...the more the native population resists immigrants, the more immigrants resist assimilation. It makes sense (why would you be gung-ho about assimilation if you feel unwanted?), but it's good to see there is data to back it up.
My parents say they are against immigrants because it's votes for democrats. Not sure why they automatically assume that...I know quite a few 2nd generation Latinos who are more conservative than liberal...but if you treat them like you don't want them, you're probably increasing their chances of going liberal. Food for thought; they're here to stay and there's more to come.

and the 20% is still not saying we SHOULD change anything.
Food for thought. Come if you can but you’re not guaranteed to be staying. I don’t think anyone is against immigration just illegal immigration with open borders. I’m sure you would rather help load their donkeys up with blow, weed, and smack and open a B&B in El Paso with free lodging. Your “feels” don’t change the laws and I don’t care if illegal immigrants are against assimilation because legal citizens are for the rule of law. And no I don’t care if you disagree with the law.

This is not true at all. I heard this line on VN all the time leading up to the election. Trump keeps reducing legal immigration and the VN response has been either "good" or uninterested. Not a single ****ing person has responded, "wait, I thought we were for legal immigration?"
1. Italians and Germans had to learn English. Hispanics used to. For some reason we have to adhere to them now.
2. The more they resist the more people are against. These immigrants aren’t coming here to become Americans. They want to keep the **** cultures from the **** countries they’re trying to leave.
3. Trash people vote democrat. There’s nothing positive with wanting to accept more trash people.
It needs to be reduced. We need to vet immigrants well instead of being a refugee camp. My son in law’s dad is a legal immigrant from El Salvador. I see and interact with legal immigrants every day from India, Laos, China, Nigeria, Mexico, and others. The ones trying to sneak across the border are criminals plain and simple.
Being for legal immigration does not mean you want every single person to come into this country. A point that continually flies about 100 feet over your head. This is not true at all. You're arguing with a no-borders anarchist. Why do you waste your time? He presented you an excluded middle because his argument will boil down to an excluded middle.Being for legal immigration does not mean you want every single person to come into this country. Many of all ages refuse to learn English. Some don't want to assimilate and become Americans.1. Italians and Germans had to learn English. Hispanics used to. For some reason we have to adhere to them now.

3. Trash people vote democrat. There’s nothing positive with wanting to accept more trash people. Our country will be destroyed from within. Stupid people supporting this behavior are trying to accelerate the process.

Did the Italians come legally? Did the Germans? How about the Irish? It's the same old bad arguments people have been making against immigration for centuries. The Italians did learn our language. The Germans did learn our language. The Hispanics are learning our language.
