Milton era should be over.

Joe Milton should not see the field again for Tennessee.
I don't know why they were so loyal to him to begin with. I never saw anything that made me that way. Also why go get a guy out of the portal to stand there next to him if you're too scared to play him? AND if he isn't good enough either they had plenty of time to recruit someone else. This is a failure in judgement of the staff!!

Heupel has had a love affair with Joe since he got here. If it hadn’t been for Joe getting mildly injured and Hooker tying his hands, last year would have been similar to this year in outcome.

Play him first drive against Vandy and hand Nico the keys.

Nico should have taken over today middle of 2nd qtr. My only thought is we are trying to redshirt him. I think Vandy is his 4th game and correct me if I’m wrong but a bowl game won’t cause him to lose the RS.
He said this is post game comments.

I don’t think any true vol fan was hoping for anything less than a heisman type year, first round draft pick for Milton. I am a super loyalty type guy and wish it had come together for him this year. He just is t that guy. I don’t understand how all these Milton guys still defend him. His stats till this game haven’t been bad, but stats don’t win games. He just can’t run an offense efficiently. That has been proven with multiple coaches. He has much talent. But what would have hooker done with this offense?it probably wouldn’t have been as good as last year, but I think it would be better than what we are seeing. Milton is just not that good. I hate that, wish I was wrong, but it’s the truth.

One more game if we’re lucky and worst case is two games and then he can overthrow and underthrow to some WR’s on a NFL scout team.

Because of his arm some NFL coach will give him a shot and think he can fix him as if no one else has tried for the last 20 years. Joe seems like a nice guy but coaches can’t fix what Joe lacks between the ears.

Well they got to see Peyton and Dolly
Lol. I don’t mean to laugh but there was technical difficulties while singing after 1st qtr. Half the stadium couldn’t hear and Dolly commented on it, too, after the performance.

Going to have to endure 8 more quarters of rocket arm Joe I'm afraid.. Sure hope Nico looks sharp right off the bat next year or the chirping at Heupel will start pretty quick.

Heup's man crush in this guy has played an intrumenral role in the diluted play calling and the one dimensional gamelans, which has hamstrung our offense... all year. That and subpar oline play.

Something tells me Heupel will never acknowledge that his man crush led to this disaster. No, losing 4 games isn’t the issue, it’s the way we have lost them (and the way we won some of the games we have won). If CJH can’t acknowdge that his decision making has been flawed, then I’m not sure the next few years look that promising. The rest of the world can see it, why not him?
