Minutes in 4OT win!!!

You act like that game was a track meet.

I've seen some real idiotic posts on here, but I guess I shouldn't be suprised when yet another one seems to trump them all. My God, and you wonder how people can even make it through a day.

I would have called anyone crazy for even considering that Trae Golden's conditioning could get him close to that number three weeks ago.

I actually played and currently coach, and yes the pace of that game wasnt quick. If you believe it was then you are the one that is kidding yourself. Great win vols. It amazes me how quick our posters are to praise people and then to throw them under the bus if something doesnt go right.

Ohhhh so because the pace wasn't quick, the players must not have been tired. I get what you're saying now. Conditioning wouldn't have even been a factor, 4 overtimes or not.

Nicodemus Christopher deserves no credit! You're right!

We played like eight guys and shot less than 40%. I was simply stating that conditioning didnt win this game. TAMU fouling out half their team was the difference.

We run a motion offense. Constant screening, constant moving. Possession changes aren't the only times players are running around.

Im not slamming us...lol....but lets not act like our conditioning won it...thats all that was said...TAMU should have beat us three times in that game....and they are 8th or 9th best team in the SEC

We should have beat Georgetown. And Alabama (on the road). And Georgia.

We can play that would've could've should've game all day long if that's what you want.

None of those are contenders...lol

Which has what to do with what? I'd love for you to make your point a little clearer, because I'm lost.

Besides, you're wrong. Georgetown is 21-4 with wins over Syracuse, Louisville, and UCLA. They took Indiana to overtime.

If they aren't a contender, then by your logic there are only 6-7 contenders in the country, and we've played none of them. Again, can't tell what your point is.

The point is Good Win Vols.
Im glad they converted in the 4th OT when they had to.
It had nothing to do with conditioning of two teams...only fouls

Yup only reason we won was because they fouled a few players out and we didn't, riggghhhtt.

Our entire 5 out there was playing with 4 fouls in the last two OTs and they had the stamina and ability to continue playing great defense without fouling one more time.

Our guys didn't look exhausted out there after playing 50+ minutes and the conditioning of the team should be given some praise. They could have rolled over after being down 3-4 points on many of those end game scenarios and the fought to survive and did and ultimately won the game.

No one understands any point you are trying to make.

Well, if you played and coach, then you should know that it doesn't take a track meet to cause fatigue after 4 OT's. That is just ridiculous. In fact, I have played a lot of "grind it out" games that were more tiring than up and down games. The last 25 minutes of a 4 OT game turn into tough half court possessions. They can cause more fatigue than just running up and down the court. Sorry, but your argument is just dumb.

Anyone can believe what they want. But I do believe fatigue played a part with Elston Turner. He is their team and started 11-14 shooting and faded badly.

Mention something positive about Bruce Pearl, that will really set them off.

Wasn't what won the game...gimmie a break....They fouled out 3 or 4 at the end that didnt play that last OT...we needed a miracle 3 to even get there.

Im glad we won, but to say we outlasted them is laughable. They were down to nothing - that was the difference.

I think our guys are in great shape and playing well, but everyone is in shape at this point in the season. If you coached you would know that. You think they are out there busting out runs in practice in February...nope

Or continue to sit back and wait for UT to lose so you can get your digs in and not enjoy sweeping Candy, beating the holy hell out of Ky and winning in 4 OT. It has been a miserable last 2 weeks for you hasn't it? LMFAO.

So, since you say you "coach" then you know what you are talking about. Wade Houston and Buzz Peterson thought they could coach too. Again, you're clueless.
