I've lived north of the MD, so no, I wouldn't be surprised nor does it surprise me that black people don't like interracial marriage considering I've either read it or heard it many, many times.

An argument could be made, based on your cited portion, that the real number is much higher, and that when some were asked about it and realized that they and their state would be mocked by the results of the survey, declined to participate.
