MIT Physicist Has Idea About Why We Exist

What does it matter what it is? You want "something" to arise spontaneously. You can test all the water in the world for that "something." When you find it pretty much everywhere, why would you assume that it got there due to this hypothesized phenomenon or otherwise? You would have no idea how it got there.

The truth is, this could be happening on a fairly regular basis, and you would have no idea without replicating it in the controlled environment of a lab. It probably isn't, because it would be a pretty low probability event that would only happen over a very long period of time.

I don't necessarily want anything to arise spontaneously I want the guy to prove his theory. Anything less is conjecture.

You just talk in circles to avoid addressing anything. Your entire presence in this thread is pointless.

Present your theory. And prove it. Anything less is conjecture.

What have you done? Actually what do you ever do? What is there to address? When/if I present a theory I will at least make some effort to substantiate it.

I think it's more of a mock huff.

Mockery would totally be appropriate if I had called myself a critical thinker, as if I'm something special. I didn't. All I said is that he's not capable of critical thought, like normal people are. He'd never heard the term before, and he's had little else to say ever since.

He thinks Dad jokes are clever, so of course he thinks this is funny.
