Romney learns ‘facts are stubborn things’ - The New York Times - MSNBC.com

There was the period last spring when Mitt Romney claimed while campaigning in Iowa and New Hampshire that he had been a hunter “pretty much all my life,” only to have to admit later he had seriously hunted on only two occasions.

Then there was the endorsement Mr. Romney claimed on NBC’s “Meet the Press” last Sunday that he received from the National Rifle Association while running for governor of Massachusetts in 2002, when it turned out the group had never endorsed him.

Mr. Romney’s latest concession is that he only “figuratively” saw his late father, George, march with Martin Luther King Jr., something he claimed in his highly publicized speech about his Mormon faith earlier this month. Some publications have raised doubts that the event ever happened at all.

Yeah... honesty and integrity.

Eh, I don't like Mitt....never have....but this type of lying is quite common place in politics these days

I doubt any of the Democrats or other Republicans are saying things that are true in speeches but people don't catch on due to either not caring if it is true or not or not being able to verify it

No. It's more Bill Clinton-esque. He tends to embellish stories to make it sound like he's "been there, done that" with the common man.

rumor has it that Mitt was scheduled to go on a duck hunt with Dick Cheney when he suddenly developed a debilitating case of dandruff.

Romney couldn't look more plastic and contrived if he tried.

Michael Savage on his radio show blasted Romney for being in the business of moving American Manufacturing plants to China. Enriching his pockets in the process, I think he is worth around 250 million.

I was looking on Michael's website and saw that the other day. I really don't care to much for Romney, but that really doesn't surprise me.

Funny you should mention that. He wrote a book a few years back. On the cover, his staff scolded him about his choice of pictures. The cover shot shows him outdoors in the Winter with snow on his shoulders. But the image is unclear and it does look like he had a major case of dandruff. He was actually mocked by Boston media for that. Old news but funny anyways...especially after your comment.
